Jaylon knew he couldn't lie because his mom would either find out or she'd know he was lying .

Jaylon : I gotta tell you some and I hope you understand
Me : * walks behind Jaylon *
Jaylon : Dad came here trying to kidnap Kayla but me and my other three guys caught him .
Jaylon : When we caught him I knew if I let him go this time he still wouldn't leave us alone
Mom : SO YOU KILLED HIM ?
Jaylon : I didn't kill him , my other guys wouldn't let me so one of them did it .
Mom : You let another man kill your father in front of you AND YEEN DO NUN
Mom : You really have lost your love for him
Jaylon : Ma he had to di -
Mom : JAYLON do you know what this means ?
Mom : Baby i'm not mad i'm not upset , WERE FREE .
Mom : I love your father but sometimes I think about what if I never met him
Mom : I was in school and had something going for myself
Mom : The best thing he ever did for me was make you and your brother
Mom : Does Dee know ?
Jaylon : Not yet
Mom : Call him , I have to tell him my way .

I don't know what Mom told Dee but minutes later he came back in the living room and was screaming at her . If anything I'd think he'd be taking his anger out on Jaylon or on me even . He kept repeating how he couldn't stand her and that it should've been her . After yelling for almost half an hour he realized nobody was giving him a reaction or back talk so he left . I didn't say anything because I felt it wasn't my place . I also didn't understand .

Jaylon : You must've told him you did it
Mom : I had too
Mom : If I would've said you or your guy he would've been in competition with you forever and killed your guy
Mom : It would've messed up the busine -
Jaylon : I don't want the business
Jaylon : I'm out , I have something to live for now
Jaylon : I got plenty of money I want a regular life
Jaylon : I'll still have your back mom but any dealings with the family business I don't want it
Mom : So what are you going to do how are you going to make more money
Jaylon : Get a regular job , I have millions saved already
Mom : Son that's the second best thing I heard you say !
Mom : You know the first was when you yelled your having twins
Mom : Money won't ever be an issue
Mom : Kayla would you get a regular job too
Kayla : Yes
Jaylon : After she has the baby of course
Mom : I got plenty of friends that can help if you need any
Mom : Son we're free we're finally free
Mom : Don't either of you stress WERE FREE

The way Mom kept repeating "we're free" was like she'd been trapped every since her college days and she had finally found an escape . I was happy . No more drama and Jaylon wanted to leave the family business . Getting a normal job was the best thing i'd heard him say ever . All his houses and cars were already paid for so the extra money was just a bonus . Most of it would go towards our kids anyway . Mom left and Jaylon just smiled at me while walking over to me . He started hugging me and getting emotional . I was the pregnant one but he was the one acting like he was pregnant . When he came over he just started to thank me and tell me how I changed his life in the weirdest way . Everything he was saying was so genuine . How he was telling me there was nobody he ever had that actually cared about him . It was weird how we met . Who would've ever thought I'd fall in love with the man who kidnapped me , lose my virginity by this man , live sleep and eat with him , even have his first kids . Nobody saw that coming . Nobody understood us though and that was okay . As long as we had each other that's all we need it . Now there was nothing left to do but wait on the twins .
