Pearl panic cries as the crystal gems ran inside the ship, when they're inside they saw defect ruby snoozing laying on her sit "ahh....should we poof her?" Pearl question's garnet "let's bubble her" amethyst summons her whip, garnet grabs Pearl and amethyst's shoulder "no, we'll let her stay there until she wake up, for now let's find Steven" both agreed to her plan and Start's the ship
*~time skip for a few hour~*
Defect Ruby's POV:
"Mm..." I slowly open my eyes 'did...did we arrive?' I look behind me and saw...'oh geminine...' It's the crystal gems! But..where's my team?? And Steven? "Oh you're awake" the amethyst notice me so the pearl and fusion look at me as well "e-ehh..w-where's the others?" I ask in confusion "drifting in space" the fusion answer's me "what!? We're gonna get them right??" I panic and ask in a hopeful voice until the amethyst tied me up with her whip "ugh!?" I yelp "yes but we have to poof them if they're planning to attack again" the fusion cross her arms staring right at me making me feel smaller then I already am "but- wait attack? What do you mean?" I tilt my head looking at three at them "your..team fuse into one but Steven pushes the button making them slide out so me and garnet *motions to the fusion* fuse to make them unfuse but your team eyeball based on her gem locate pull Steven along to space" I nod at her "is it because they found out that amethyst isn't jasper?" I Squint's my eyes "how did you know?" The amethyst look at me with suspicion "it's pretty obvious cause jasper isn't violet and you keep stuttering also I saw you turn back to your original form for a second" I explain to her "oh..." I sigh "listen..if it's not to much to ask......can I stay with you guys?" They look at me surprise "you don't wanna go back to homeworld?" The pearl ask "no..beside I'm a defect no one wants me there since I'm not made the way they want me to be" i frown and look away "fine...but we'll keep an eye on you for now..." The fusion name garnet accepts me and I smile at her "so...can you untie me now??" The *cough* sorry I meant, amethyst unties me and I stand up look at three of them "so can I help you finding Steven?" They nod at me unsure, I prepare everything and we start looking for him
⏳time skip for about an hour⌛
No luck...we search everywhere, the crystal gems were talking to each other until I found a pink circle I lean in closer and gasp "guys!" They run at me and look where I'm pointing at "Steven!" Pearl cries cover her mouth with both hands I activated something to grab him, he's finally inside and un-bubbled, the crystal gems surround him and garnet shakes him telling him to wake up, he's starting to open his eyes and see them in front of him making a surprise face, pearl and amethyst tackle him to a hug crying their eyes out, pearl and amethyst start talking and laughing, garnet took out her visor showing 3 eyes making me even more amaze, garnet ruffles Steven's head and he start laughing, garnet smiles wide and start to have a group hug, Steven saw me making me tense with a nervous smile "cheeky?" Steven ask surprise "Hey Steven...just to let you,know I meant no harm I promise" I gulp nervously not sure if he'll accept me "she also help us finding you, she said she wanna stay on earth" garnet saves me explaining everything to him, he gasp with star eyes "a new crystal gem!" He yelled excited making me flinch a little, he grabs me making me join the group hug, it felt warm and cozy making me smile, now it's Pearl's turn to control the ship so I sit beside Steven, he frown and look up "how come nobody told me about pink diamond?" Steven question garnet, she look away a little "we all did had to during the war...everything's different now" garnet look down a little "but did mom really do it? Did she really...shatter her?" Steven look a little stress "she had to we don't belong to pink diamond, destroying her was the only way to save the planet, for amethyst to be herself, for pearl to be free, for me to be together...for you to exist..." Garnet finish talking 'it all make sense now...this is why rebellion exist...I just hope homeworld could hear this and change for the better...' I look down upset at homeworld "but I thought..a-at least she'd never-" garnet cuts Steven off "she didn't always do what's best for her.., but she always did what was best for earth..." Steven touch his stomach "even...if it meant shattering someone?" Garnet nods "yes" Steven look a little panic, he sigh, I look at him and smile a little
