no one pov:

defect is pretty excited but nervous as they teleport to pearl's arena "ready kids?" said pearl with the hologram pearl beside her with a sword "yes ma'am!...connie" steven nudge connie who look upset and distracted eith something "steven! connie! wooo!" garnet cheers with defect who's sitting on her lap with the 'steven+connie' sign

"initiating fusion dance" the hologram pearls start their robotic dance and fuse together with red eyes "come at me children" steven and connie start dancing not in sync but they somehow fuse to stevonnie, defect gasp with wide eyes as she stare at stevonnie, they turn to defect and give her a grin and a playful wink

defect ruby pov:

oh wow! a fusion between a gem and a human! steven and connie are full of surprises "let us...begin!" hologram pearl twirls and start attacking stevonnie but they dodge it with their shield and sword, hologram pearl almost caught them but they quickly flew away, stevonnie was about to hit with the final blow but...something is wrong, their eyes widen in surprise that quickly turn to fear and regret "im sorry!" they yell out and hit the floor, that gotta hurt, they soon unfuse as i gasp and ran up to them "steven, connie!" i help steven up as he held his head with a bead of sweat on his forehead "what happen?" said steven, we turn to connie and saw that she seem to have a breakdown? she ran away and we quickly follow after her "connie wait!" leaving mom and pearl

we finally caught up to her where she's burying her face to her knees while sitting on the stairs near the warp pad, we sat down beside her and "hey, what's wrong?" said steven with a small frown on his face "i did something terrible at school, and i don't know what to do" connie covered her face with her hands, steven put his hand on her shoulder as a way of comfort "well, that doesn't sound like you, what happen?" connie give a second of silent and gently push steven's hand away from her shoulder "i beat someone up" me and steven look shock "yup, that doesn't really sound like you" i pipe up and quickly covered my mouth while steven nudge me a bit to stop "a kid i didn't know, he just bumped into me in the hallway, i was so startled, my traing insticts kicked in, i just..reacted" connie explained, i was so embarrassed, i just ran away" steven quickly defend her action as a way to feel less guilty of what she did "but you didn't mean to hurt him!.. i know what it's like, sometimes, you hurt people.. by accident?.. y-you just have to try not to think about it" i just sat there awkwardly and listen to their problem till i heard my mom's voice "hold the phone, the guve the phone to me" after about an hour of cleaning things up the sun us starting to go down, mom said to be with amethyst and pearl, saying she have some business with steven and connie.

(i think i might skip a few episodes? sorry guys things have been wowza, since im about to go to college(online), more hyperfixations(wh, tadc, ena, svtfoe, etcs) and trying to put more stories on some of my books and always sleepy no matter what, i know i should be doing one at a time or take a break from this but i can't, it kinda makes me fedl guilty for making you guys wait that long, other then that i'm fine and i might need to draw more of su to hyperfixation for this book, i might add another oc that MIGHT be a benefit for the story...if you guys are up for ideas pls let me know, i wanna hear it)
