See You Tomorrow

7 Years Later

I've always been searching for something, or someone.

"So.. what have you been up to lately, Branch?" Justin asked.

Branch smiled. "Well, I've been thinking about showing up more in Trollstopia"

But I never got the chance to find out what or who it was..

"Really? That would be really awesome" the blue troll laughed.

"Just wanted to try to get out of my comfort zone for once" Branch shrugged.

Whenever I look at one certain troll, I felt something sparked inside me.

"That's good! That way you won't be staying in this bunker 7/24" Justin said.

"Wh- you meant 24/7?" the gray troll corrected.

"Nope, 7/24"

Branch rolled his eyes and smiled. "Whatever"

But I never got the courage to say something to them.

"Anyways, when you going out?" Justin asked.

"Now" Branch walked to the elevator. "And I'm going alone"

This time, I will talk to them.

"Aww man.." Justin sighed.

Branch is finally in Trollstopia, but where to now? It would be awkward to just stand there and do nothing.

"Hey, uhh" a voice said.

Branch turned around to see a pink troll.

"I'm sorry to ask but.. do I.. know you?" She asked, curious.

Branch lightly chuckled. "Funny, I wanted to ask the same.." he said. "I feel like I should know you.. but I don't"

"Yeah, me neither.."

"So.. name's Branch, you?" Branch offered his hand to the pink troll.

"Nice to meet you Branch, I'm Poppy" Poppy shook his hand, smiling.

An awkward silence came upon them.

"This isn't awkward at all" Branch laughed nervously.

Poppy giggled. "Yeah, it's my first time I've ever had an awkward conversation"

"Sucks, right?" Branch shrugged.

"It does" Poppy chuckled. "Let's go somewhere else, wanna grab a drink?"

Branch nodded. "Sure, I want to know more about you"

The two trolls chatted and laughed together for a while, to the point where they lost track of time and it's almost night time.

"Well would you look at that.." Branch said, noticing it's getting dark. "Sorry Poppy, I have to head back home"

"Oh that's fine" Poppy smiled.

"And hey.. I had fun, thanks for spending some time just for me" Branch smiled. "I would love to hang out with you more sometime"

Poppy chuckles. "Me too"

The two trolls asks in the same time, "So.. I'll see you tomorrow?"
