"If you expect disappointment, then you can never really be disappointed"

Third-person POV

(p.s if I write like this ah it means it's like a flashback)

It was just a normal day. Aurelia would have never thought that she would meet her best friend. The person that gained her trust but then broke it. In the worst way possible. The person that made her starve herself because he left without saying goodbye to her. But he had to. She didn't understand that so she hated herself. She thought it was her fault that he left. That she did something to make him hate her.

He was the one who taught her how to trust but then eventually he broke it

FLASHBACK

"Dad comes on, I want to play with someone I don't have any friends" -His 7-year-old self said cried to his dad in boredom. His dad sighed, putting the phone in his pocket and picking him up. He had no one to play with since no one would talk to him and he was too shy to talk to anyone.

"Wanna go somewhere little bud?" His dad asked. He nodded eagerly as his dad chuckled and put on his jacket.

"Let's go "- His dad said grabbing his hand. They walked outside as the cool wind kept brushing against their face. Although their hair was short it was flying everywhere.

They finally arrived at the old park, that was closest to their house. His dad sat on the bench and told him to go play and try to make friends while he does some work. He ran onto the structure and started climbing on it and running around. He tried going on the monkey bars but he slipped and fell.

"Woah, little bud are you okay? You don't have to go on it if it's too hard" -His dad said. He came over and looked at him through the bars with a worried expression.

He laughed and quickly got up. "I'm fine Dad it's okay"

He slid down the slide and went on the swings, His dad went back on the bench to do work. He was swinging peacefully until he realized something.

His bracelet was gone.

The one that his old friend gave him before she passed. Tears brimmed in his eyes, as he was searching for it. He was too scared to tell his dad because he thought he would yell at him for losing such an expensive and valuable bracelet.

"Is this yours?" He heard a voice from behind me. He spun around and saw a little girl, looking around my age, smiling, with gold and blue eyes matching her blue jacket. She had long hair, in a brown hair tie, which was watching the color of her hair.

Her hand was stretched out with his bracelet in her hand. He gasped and grabbed it from her, and soon enough, he was hugging her. She let out a little giggle and hugged him back.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you I thought I lost it and I was going to get in trouble" -he exclaimed. She smiled at him, showing her pearly white teeth.

"It's okay. It looks nice, what is your name?" -she asked.

"My name is Ji-hoon, what's yours?" -He said.

"That sounds like a hard name to say. Mine is Aurelia" -She said flashing her smile.

"I like your name it's pretty" -he said

"Thank you! Wanna go play in the sandbox?" -She suggested, He nodded following her.

As he walked over there he heard a faint whisper "I made a new friend John, He seems to like me. Hopefully, he doesn't leave me like other people" -She said

He smiled to himself and thought that she was going to be his best friend forever

PRESENT

"HOON IT'S YOU" -she said

She quickly ran into his arms and sobbed, as soon as she finished crying she gave him a hard painful slap

"Why would you leave me after you promised not to"-she cried

"I'm sorry Lia I had to... They were going to hurt you if I didn't stay away from you but I promise I was watching over you the whole time and I've seen you made new friends"-he said

"I've missed you so much, Hoon"

"Now now don't give all the hugs to my son what about me?"

"Of course, I didn't forget about you Martha"-Aurelia said

She went in to give Martha a big big hug

"What about your favorite person"

"AAHH I didn't forget about you of course I mean how could I?"

She went to give Chong-Hee a big hug and he squeezed the hell out of her

Mario was jealous. Jealous that someone got the fatherly hug that he was supposed to.

Her mom was happy. Happy that someone took care of her daughter and that she wasn't completely alone

But all her brothers except were jealous that she showed more emotion around these random people but not them.

"Let's go eat and talk about how your life has been Aurelia"-Martha said

Aurelia always felt like she was part of their family. Martha couldn't give birth to kids after Ji-Hoon so she always treated her like one of her own and she would be forever grateful for that

They all gathered around the dinner table and as usual, Martha took over

"So how was life Aurelia I hope it wasn't too hard"-Martha said

"It was good I liked it. 2개의 회사를 새로 시작했는데 하나는 옷이고 다른 하나는 무기이고 제 자동차 회사는 이미 알고 계시고 저는 고등학교를 졸업했습니다. 혹시나 하는 마음에 녹음까지 해놨습니다. (It's Korean but I got this translation from Google so idk if it's accurate)

(Translation: I started 2 new companies one is for clothes, the other is for weapons and you already know about my car company and I graduated high school, I even recorded it in case I ever saw you again. )

"좋네 영상 보내줘 근데 왜 영어가 안되지?"-Ji-hoon said

(Translation: "That's good but why aren't you speaking in English?")

나는 내 바이오스가 내가 당신에게 말한 것을 듣고 싶지 않습니다.

(Translation: I don't want my bios to hear you know the ones I told you about before)

"Don't leave us out we can't hear what you guys are saying"-Mario said

"Oh we weren't talking about much, we were mostly talking about how her school was for her. "-Chong-Hee said

Aurelia felt herself smile from inside she knew she could trust them again.
