Zach's POV

I looked at the white door infront of me... i sighed heavily, before going in.

"Hey, you're awake." I smiled at her.

She didn't answer. Nakatulala lang siya.

"I bought food. Kain kana muna." I said while preparing her food.

She was there at her bed, laying down. Spacing out.

I put her food at the table infront her.

"Here, eat." I sighed.

She slowly sat down, and ate.

I went out to let her rest.

I once again sighed heavily.

It's been 3 years Emerald. It has been 3 years, since your daughter passed away.

Emerald has depression. She was 3 years depressed.

She broke up with Carlisle, on their daughter's funeral. I can remember that Carlisle was begging her not to leave him. But Emerald was out of her mind.

Her daughter's death affected her alot. To the fact that, she wasn't speaking too much. She's always spacing out. She's not going out of her room. She even tried to kill herself.

After a few minutes, i went inside.

She's now standing at the balcony of her room.

"Zach." She called me.

I immediately turned my gaze at her, once i heard her voice.

"Hmm?" I answered attentively.

"Do you think my daughter will be happy if i go outside?" She asked.

I was shocked about her question. I looked at her face and saw how her expression changed.

The expression on her face was the expression she always puts on, 3 years ago.

"Ofcourse! She will be glad, because her mother will be happy." I smiled at her.

She nodded.

"I'll think about it." She answered, before going back to her bed.

I finished cleaning her table so i went outside.

I grabbed my phone on my pocket and called someone.

After a few rings, Someone picked up.

"Good news." I said smiling.

"What is it?" He answered exitedly from the other line.

"She said that she'll think about going out." I said, finally relieved.

"What?! Are you sure?" He asked, making sure if he heard it right.

"Yes." I said.

And with that, he hang up.

That bastard.

Tsk tsk. Asher you freaking asshole.

Carlisle's POV

I was so happy when i heard about the news.

She was finally healing. After 3 years.

Our daughter's death, caused so much stress about her. I sometimes come to visit her, but she doesn't remember me.

It hurts, but as long as i know that she's fine, i'm okay with it.

2 years ago, i went depressed too, because she broked up with me.

And because of our daughter's death too.

Pero madali akong naka-recover.

For the whole 3 years, I always check on her.

Even if she doesn't know me anymore.

I badly wanna visit the hospital, but i can't. I'm afraid that she'll recognize me, and remember those things 3 years ago. I wanted her to heal. I wanted her to be happy.

Emerald's POV

I sat up and went to the bathroom.

I looked at mysef at the mirror. I looked so haggard.

I grabbed the soap and washed my face. I'll start a new life again. I promise my daughter that i'll be happy again.

I went out and looked for my phone.

I saw it on the center table. I grabbed it and dialed Zach's number.

"Hello? Who's this?" He asked through his phone.

I remembered that he didn't save my number.

"Elle." I answered.

"Huh? Wag po kayong mag-prank ng ganto. Baliw po yung kaibigan ko, hindi po marunong tumawag sa phone yun." He asnwered.

I frowned.

"Tangina mo." I answered.

"What? Si Elle ba talaga 'to?" He asked making sure that it's me.

"Oo nga, paulit ulit?" I asked sarcastically.

"Nasan ka?" I asked.

"Nasa mental, nag-papabook ng room para sa'yo." He said.

He answered.

"Oo na po mahal na reyna, bibili na po." He answered before hanging up.

It's been 3 years, since i last talk to someone like that. Maybe i really need to go out now.

I was sitting at my bed, watching TV, when the door burst open.

"Eto na madam, oh." Zach said, putting the paper bags down.

"Thanks, Zachie." I said smiling.

Agad akong tumayo at tinignan iyong mga damit.

"Zachie?! Did you just call me by that nickname you use to call me 3 years ago?! Naniniwala na'ko sa himala." He faked, praying.

I chuckled at him.

"It's good to see you smiling." He said.

I smiled at him.

"Oo naman, magaling na'ko e." I answered.

"Your husband will be happy." He whispered, but i still heard it.

"Huh? Husband? Who?" I asked confusedly.

"No, nothing." He smiled at me before leaving.
