Emerald's POV

"what do you think about him?" Yumi asked while walking.

"i don't know." i shrugged.

"pero binigay yung number." sabat naman ni Zach.

"Shot off ka nalang be." Saad ko.

We separate ways, once we got out.

I arrived at my condo around 9:20 p.m.

Dumiretso ako sa kama ko upang mag-pahinga.

I woke up at the sound of my phone.

Someone's calling...

I checked the clock and it's 8:34 a.m.

I looked at the callers i.d...

It doesn't have a name.

I grabbed my phone and answered it.

"Hello? Who's this?" I asked.

"Oh? You forgot about me already?" A guy with a deep voice spoke.

"Huh? Sorry, who's this?" I asked, still confused.

"Ashton Vargas." He said.

And that's when i realized who he is.

"You remember now?" He asked.

"Yes." I answered.

"What do you need?" I asked.

I'm not sure if i made it sound so rude.

"Woah, sungit." I can hear him chuckle on the other line.

"Oh i'm sorry if i made it sound so rude." I apologized.

"Nah, that's fine beauty." He said.

"So uhm... bakit ka po napatawag?" I asked politely.

"I wanted to take you out, can i?" He asked.

"Uhmm..." I said thinking if i have anything to do for today.

"It's okay if you're busy." He said.

"Well, i'm not busy naman today." I answered.

"So, does that mean that you can go?" He asked.

"Yep." I answered.

"Okie, see you beauty." With that, he hung up.

Ashton's POV

"We're going on a date!" Sigaw ko.

"Date for you, e para sakanya?" Ken said while watching TV.

"Wala kana don." I answered.

"C'mon play boy, alam naman nating gagawin molang siyang isa sa collections mo." Muling saad niya.

I immediately looked at him.

It's not like that. I... fell inlove with her at first sight.

"Oh? Bat ganyan ka maka-tingin?" Tanong niya sa'kin.

"Shut you mouth. She's not one of my collections." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Wow, so ano pala?" He asked.

"You won't understand." I said.

And with that i left.

Agad akong naligo at nag-bihis.

Carlisle's POV

"The audacity of that man to get my wife's number?!" I said almost yelling.

"Calm down, bro." Saad ni Luis.

"How?!" I said.

"Hindi naman magugustuhan ni Emerald yun." He said.

Agad akong napatigil.

"Weh? Sure ka?" Paninigurado ko.

"Oo nga paulit-ulit?" Masungit niyang saad.

"Tss." I hissed.

Emerald's POV

I looked at myself at the mirror to check my outfit.

I'm wearing a white sleeveless top, and a white wide legged pants.

I styled my hair waivy and let it down.

Saktong narinig ko ang doorbell ko, kaya agad akong lumabas ng kwarto ko.

Pag-bukas ko ng pinto, ay bumungad sa'kin ang gwapong mukha ng isang Ashton Vargas.

Charot.

"Hey." Bati ko dito habang naka-ngiti.

"Hey, let's go?" Nakangiting aya niya sa'kin.

I nodded and went outside with him.

We arrived at a mall.

"Where do you want to go first?" He asked.

"Kahit saan." Sagit ko.

"Okay let's see, may kahit saan ba dito?" He asked, smiling sarcastically.

"Nakakatawa." Bulong ko, pero sapat na upang hindi niya marinig iyon.

"Corny nga e." He said.

I looked at him, with schocked expression.

"Narinig mo?" I asked.

"Oo, ano ako binge?" Pamimilosopo niya pa.

"Act comfortable with me, will you?" He asked in a soft voice.

"Hmm, pano pag ayoko?" Pag-bibiro ko.

"Edi don't." Saad niya sabay taray.

"So, san tayo pupunta?" Tanong niya sa'kin habang patuloy na nag-lalakad.

"Sa pwet mo siguro, mag-kakape." Naka-ngiting pang-gagago ko.

"Alam mo, ang gago mo, pasalamat ka..." Hindi niya tinapos ang sasabihin.

"Ano? Tuloy monga kung matapang ka." Pag-hahamon ko.

"Tara, ikain mo nalang yan, gutom lang yan. Tignan mo ampayat-payat mo, ginugutom ka ata sainyo e." Pang-aasar pa niya.

"Pogi mo sana e, kaso-" hindi ko pa natatapos ang sasabihin ko ay sumabat na agad siya.

"Thank you." Naka-ngising saad niya.

"Ewan ko sa'yo." Saad ko at nag-patuloy na lang sa pag-lalakad.

"Is it good?" He asked, while i'm chewing on my food.

I nodded.

"Buti naman." He said.

"Kumain ka ng marami para hindi ka mukhang malnourish." Saad niya.

"Pag-ako nabwiset sa'yo, lalayasan kita dito, i-date mo sarili mo." I rolled my eyes at him.

"So you think this is a date?" Naka-ngiting tanong niya.

Ngiting aso amputa.

"Heh." Saway ko sakanya.

"Sus, ikaw talaga." He teased.

"Pakipot kapa." He smirked.

"Tumahimik kana nga." Usal ko.

"Sige na nga, tayo na. I love you." Umakto pa siyang tila jowa ko.

I sighed.

Makulit rin pala ang isang 'to. I thought he's the boring type.

Maybe i can work things with him.

I smiled at the thought of that.
