Abnormal Class

Nagisa's pov

As I was eating breakfast to the fullest, Grandpa started talking about something as Opera was refilling my demon tea

"Nagisa-kun. About today's class placement, I've placed you in a special class!" Grandpa said

"Special?" I said confused as I thought 'Is this gonna be the same as Class-E?'

Grandpa then started explaining how I got to the special class, making me smile and say thanks

Then I heard Clara and Azz waiting for me at the gate saying good morning

As I glanced outside, grandpa then started explaining making me focus on him

"Before, I forget it's called the abnormal class and I've also placed your friends in the same class!"

As we walked to school, we talked about how fun it would be that all of us were in the same class

As we went to the bulletin board to see our assigned classroom just to be sure and saw that Grandpa was right

As we went to the first year tower to see where our classroom was at only to be greeted by a glowing yellow arrow on the halls

As we followed the guide, we passed classrooms doing all kinds of fun things like magic and etc.

'It looks fun but don't let your guard down this is still school but only different.' I thought to myself as we passed by a classroom with a teacher teaching astrology

As I suddenly felt something was off making me look around to see only students talking amongst one another and walking around

As I shrugged it off, I saw 3 students pass one another only for 2 of the students to get their shit stolen from them

As I looked at the culprit tossing the stolen items in his hands and said "Bad habits acting up again."

'Now I really need to keep your guard up or else some of my stuff will get stolen.'

As we went back to following the guide taking us outside and into a cave

As we followed it underground to be met with a pile of garbage and more stairs leading down

As we saw a beaten up wooden door with a crooked sign, the guide suddenly poofed leaving us face to face with the door

I went and grabbed the handle and opened just a crack as I felt anxious going inside

As I tried to take a peek, Clara pushed me inside yelling out "CHARGE~!"

Setting off the traps on the door. As time slowed down for me, I looked around to see weapons coming at me looking for a way to get out of this unscathed

As time started going back to normal, I dodged every single one of the weapons leaving them stuck on the floor

As the surprise attack was finished, I heard clapping to the side

As the students started praising me for dodging every single one of the weapons

As I wiped the sweat off my brow, Azz came in angry asking them why did they do it

Only for them to say it was only just a prank that they were betting on

'So this is abnormal class... This somehow makes me feel at ease...' I thought to myself as I giggled

"Man, you're the only one who managed to avoid it all!" The floating yellow haired demon said

"Well, although there was also someone who "caught" all of them." The beautiful demon said

"Caught?" Azz said with a sweat drop

Suddenly a voice shouted out "Laughable!" as he stepped into my line of sight with his steps literally stomping the dust off the ground

As a tall blonde demon with swords stuck on his body started saying that dodging is for cowards

As we looked at him in shock, he tightened his muscles propelling the swords that were stuck on his body to get pushed out, leaving no cuts, blood or scars even

He said his name was Sabnock Sabro and stuff about being the demon king

As we talked for a while, I found out that he plans to become Yodh and be the demon king, as well as attacking a teacher on the first day

'This guy... is a brute.' I thought as the doors suddenly flung open with Kalego-sensei being the cause of it

"Sit down and SILENCE!" he said in a booming voice

Making us all quiet and sit down

He then started doing roll call, making me know who my classmates are

With one in particular who was quiet and was just blending into the background only looking out the window when Kalego-sensei called out Purson Soi as he was looking at him

As he finished roll call didn't even making me finish talking

He started explaining about the rank placement test and that we have to go outside to race to do it

As we were outside, on a floating island

Kalego-sensei summoned another cute explanation video about the race

With a look of him holding back his anger as the heart demon from the video was explaining

After the video ended, he then broke it leaving to crumble

He then started telling us to get ready making my classmates pull out their wings making me sweat as I looked around to think of ways to pass the test

Only for him to suddenly shout out "GO!"

As my classmates raced off to the finish line leaving me and Kalego-sensei alone

I wanted to tell him that I don't have wings since I didn't have them at birth due to an illness

That's what Grandpa, Opera and I agree to anyway

As I started to talk only for him to pick me up and throw me over the edge making me fall to my death

(The same happened in the anime but it was Nagisa)

As I healed the leg of the giant bird with my blood making him screach in joy

As a thank you it gave me a ride to the finish line going through cutthroat valley though

As I looked at my wound 'I may be a demon but I'm still half human... My blood still holds healing properties for demons... I need to be careful with this.'

As we were flying by, I was enjoying the scenery only for it to be ruined by a loud screaching

I looked to where it came from and saw a even more giant version of the bird I healed

But what even more surprised me was that Sabnock was there as well

Not wasting anytime, we went over there as fast as we can

"Hang on you big oaf!"
