--- Narrator's POV --

In a tent outside the testing area for the Harvest Festival, it was in full pandemonia. Teachers, left and right were busy trying to salvage the event. They didn't expect that once the event started everything would turn out this bad.

The magical arrays were down and students were dropping like flies. In the end, their little experiment was turning out to be a massive fail.

The speakers went on and the fighting stopped and the voice of Professor Kalego could be heard "SILENCE! Due to unforeseen circumstances the rules will be altered and the event will be restarted. Wait until we fix everything and are ready to start the event again.".

Everyone was relieved and went to get their wounds checked or go to chill out before the start of the event again.

Some time has passed since the whole shindig, the teachers as well as the principal had a meeting on why in all of hell did they add a new rule anyways. I remembered now, it was because they wanted their students to be prepared for the outside world due to what was going on in the netherworld

But anyways a consensus has come at last. They had agreed that they would stick with the old rules and nothing else.

That was what everyone heard by the speakers. To the majority, they were grateful but to Nagisa and Karma all they heard was "You cannot harm any contestant."

"You heard what I heard, Nagisa?" Karma asked looking at his brother with his usual smile

"Yeah... We can't hurt the contestants... But we can do so indirectly though." Nagisa said with a blank look on his face

"You do you. Just don't forget about getting the thing." Nagisa said

"Of course, Of course." Karma said

Then the speakers went on again and the voice of the principal could be heard. "Although we are sticking by the old rules. We will be adding designated areas where you are allowed to harm another contestant. The bracelets will start beeping if you are inside those red areas. Be warned. NOW LET THE FESTIVAL BEGIN AGAIN! CINTESTANTS GET READY!"

The contestants then started to get prepared and were now heading to the starting line

And when they heard the go sign, they were off with now the teleporters finally working now and was much less than a battle field as well, which was a bonus

Everyone got to collecting while others went deeper or went to the red zones. All we know was that the misfits were in the lead

(*Author's Note: The misfits' training arc was more intense than in the manga and anime. Note that their masters really taught them to their limits... They weren't joking.)

Each misfit were each on teams of 2, Shanx is with Purson while Nagisa is with Karma those 4 demons have come to an agreement that they will help each other get points due to 1 of the legendary items having 3 known items needed to obtain while the other 1, you only need to find

(The others were just the same as in the anime and manga)

The downside to finding this 2 legendary items was not only was it going to be hard, they also didn't know if they were in the green zones or red zones

The 4 demons were hoping for the former... Too bad their hopes are gonna get crushed
