"Ash!"

"Pikapi!"

Gary and Pikachu ran towards Ash. Ash and Lucario had knocked out Gary's Pokemon. They shared a glance. Then Ash's eyes glowed blue for a moment and he colapsed. What happened? Gary wondered, worriedly.

Once they arrived by Ash's side, Gary checked his pulse. He was breathing, and his heart was beating, so it wasn't anything too serious. He then turned to Lucario. "Do you know what happened?"

Lucario was holding its head as if in pain. "Car, Cario." It said. Well, that cleared things up.

Gary thought out loud, bouncing his thoughts off Lucario. "Clearly, you guys did the aura thing, right? Since Ashy-boy's eyes glowed blue and you have a headache?"

Lucario nodded.

"Alright. And Ash said it also made him tired. Maybe he just passed out from exhaustion? But why didn't he do that the other times? Did you do something different?"

Lucario nodded again.

"Alright then. So Ash is fine, just tired. And he'll probably wake up with a headache, right?"

Lucario nodded for a third time.

Gary thought for a moment. He could probably carry Ash to their dorm, but it would be highly suspicious if someone saw him carrying an unconcious body around the campus. He could call the school nurse, but then he and Ash would have to explain everything and it would cause a rukus, even more so than the dodgeball event had. Besides, Gary got the feeling that Ash didn't want everyone to know about this aura thing yet. That left pretty much one option: sit here and wait for Ash to wake up.

That idea lasted for about half a minute before Gary started shaking Ash. "Ashy-boy, rise and shine! Wakey-Wakey!"

That didn't work, so Gary tried using the alarm on his rotomphone to wake him up. Normally, Gary leaped out of bed to stop the brain-boilingly annoying sound, but Ash just laid there unmoving.

Finally, Gary remembered the first day of school. And the second day of school. And the third. Why didn't he think of this sooner? He turned to Pikachu, who had been chatting with Lucario.

"Hey Pikachu, will you wake up Ash?"

Pikachu grinned. "Pi ka CHU!!" Pikachu gave Ash a medium-power thunderbolt.

________........________

"Aaaah!" Ash jolted up, awake. "Ugnnn... Pikachu, did you really have to do that?" Ash grabbed his head. It hurt much more then the last couple of time he had done this, and he barely had enough energy to prop himself up.

"Ashy-Boy! You're back!" Gary grabbed Ash's wrist and yanked him onto his feet, assuming Ash was fine.

Ash was not: he had just passed out and gotten electrocuted. He managed an award-worthy two seconds on his feet before falling back down. Luckily, Gary caught him around midway to the floor.

"You okay, Ashy-Boy?"

Gary said, genuinley concerned for once as set Ash back on the ground. He didn't know Ash to show that he was unable to do something; he always just plowed right though. So the fact that Ash wasn't even able to stand up was worrisome.

"Yeah, just a little tired." Ash put a hand to his head as he sat on the ground. Pikachu curled up in his lap and Ash started petting him with his other hand

Gary looked at Ash skeptically. "Clearly, you're not okay. You just collapsed on the ground unconsious a minute ago, and you obviously have one killer headache. So what happened?"
