7. chapter

It was Monday and I was just leaving the classroom when I saw Nate.

After his call on Friday I couldn't stop thinking about him, but not because I like him.

I decided to say hi to him, because he was so nice on the phone.

"Hey."

"Did you just say hey to me?", he laughed disgusting.

"I was just-"

"What? Expecting me to talk to you?", his friends started to laugh at me too.

"Nate, why are you acting like this? What is wrong with you?"

"With me? You were the one who tried to desperately call me on Friday.", he said while his friends started to laugh even harder now.

"Wait, now I'm the one who was calling you on Friday?", I scoffed.

"You literally called me to apologize, because you thought that you hurt me!", I laughed bitter.

"Dude, what?", I heard one of his friends say.

"Stop lying, Alaska!"

"Oh, I'm the liar? Are your friends interested into seeing our chat?"

He stopped talking now.

"Come on guys, let's go. She's crazy.", he said while rubbing his neck awkwardly.

After they left, I started to laugh to myself.

Ha. What a jerk.

"Did you just talk to Nate Flores?", Anisa came up to me.

"Yes, why?"

"Uhm, do you you have a crush on him?", she asked awkwardly.

"What no, eww. I hate him."

The thought of me having a crush on him made me almost gag. 

"Oh good, because there's a rumor that he has a thing with this girl on our school."

"Wait what, who?"

"I have no idea, but that's maybe just a lie."

A lie? Why would someone lie about this? And why am I so mad right now? That girl got probably kidnapped by him.

I mean seriously, why would any girl fall for Nate?

Okay, he is not ugly and his brown hair looks literally perfect and yes, I have never seen prettier eyes than his, but he's ugly on the inside.

But to be honest, he smells really nice...

ALASKA STOP!

I think I'm just a little confused, because school is so stressful.

Yeah that must be it.
