Chapter 27 (II)

Third POV
After 3 sunrise,
Xero eyes glimmered with hope,
It was the day of y/n's awakening.

Xero got out of his room excitedly,
He greeted each and everyone who were working in the castle with a bright smile
His royal advisor, Vanessa, pondered about why he was so excited out of a sudden

"Haha..I'm so relieved the king is happy.."
One of the young maiden said

"Haven't you heard?, The human girl is going to turn into one of us" the older maiden replied

"What!? that's monstrosity!!" One of the maiden shouted which echoed the castle hall

Unfortunately, it reached to the ears of someone whom they would not want to mess with..

Xero

Xero approached them with a smile
Which seemed menacing to them
Oh.. how they trembled
As Xero's shadow were hovering over them

"What.. monstrosity?.." Xero asked
The maidens gulped in fear

"Your majesty!, Your ride to zelou's has been prepared" said one of his guards

Xero turn to see his carriage outside and excitedly hum, swimming towards the exit

Oh how lucky the maidens
were
as they silently left the palace hall
alive....

"where am I?..." Y/n mumbled as her eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the brightness

"Your finally alive..." a male voiced spoke

"What?.. who are you?"
She questioned as she slowly get up

"It's me... Zelou..."

Slowly as y/n tried to move forward, she was unable to do so...

Y/n looked down and it was a royal pink tail..

She screamed in fear causing her to fall backwards to the bed

"Calm down.." zelou said

It took a moment for y/n to finally calm down however as she tried to process things, her mind was empty

Zelou sat aside quietly..

"Knock knock"

Zelou got up and opened the door,
Xero immediately swim in before zelou could even greet him,
Oh the joy Xero felt as he looked as his soon to be bride,
His eyes were feasting on y/n.
While
Y/n doesn't recognize him

"Guards! prepare the money and the carriage!" Xero ordered
Before he swim toward y/n slowly,
He slowly took y/n's hand and smiled lovingly.

Y/n looked at him and asked
"who are you?.."

Xero replied with an eyes closed,smile "I'm your soon to be husband~"

Y/n mind went empty again

"Come with me, we're going to our home" Xero said as he swoop his muscular arms around y/n, carrying her to the carriage and left.
While Zelou, receive the money
From one of Xero's guard..

"UGHH!" Floria screamed in anger
As she threw everything in her room
"Too bad.." one of the mermaid who was a maiden said

"Well,dear.. Jenna, i have a tiny present for her...
perhaps you could give this to the soon to be queen and you will be promised not only money but a title in the royal castle.." Floria said with a smirk while handing Jenna a tiny bottle..

"Jenna! Haven't you heard! A grand royal wedding will take place soon!" One of the maiden exclaimed

"Oh yes, I am so excited"
Jenna replied as she does her bed

"Woah..I've heard about royal weddings but I haven't seen one before!" One of the young maiden said..

The smiles plastered on most of the maidens face were pure joy
However....
not for Jenna...
