Chapter 3

Third POV

He carefully swim towards her
He was a little leery of her

But yet he still took the opportunity as
he would be able
to get to know a little more about her

"Hi there" she greeted with a bright smile
But he remained silent as he was flustered

He didn't know what this feeling was

In this moment he felt confused
Why is his heart beating so fast?
Why is there a tickling feeling around his body?

He slowly looked up at her,staring straight at her bright e/c orbs for the first time

"Could you perhaps help me get back home?" She questioned
She was desperately wanting to go home and check on her family after the incident
But
He remained silent not sure if he wanted to help her or not...

As in his mind....
He knows once he bring her back to her home
He will lose her forever

He wasn't gonna allow that to happen
After many years of searching his suited bride

He wasn't gonna let go of her

even if his father
didn't allow him to be with her

That wouldn't stop him

She kept staring at him awaiting for his response
As he was in deep thoughts

He snapped out of his thoughts and shake his head signalling her,he couldn't help

She sighed

"Well at least I've got company..." She muttered and sat on the sandy ground,
with disappointment
plastered on her face,she shook it off and
look at the black haired male again,
Curious, why was he in the Ocean?
There's no house nor a tent in the island

As they both just stared at each other
Causing the atmosphere around them to be tensed and awkward

She couldn't handle the feeling and decided to break the atmosphere

"Come seat here" she said while patting on the sandy ground next to her

In that moment he didn't know
what he should do

He starts to overthink

'if I seat beside her and she saw my tail
Would she......hate me..?'

'W-what if she starts running away?
I-i can't run...'

His thoughts keeps on running on every
possibilities
That might and will happen

"You ok?" She questioned with a hint of concern
In her tone

He snapped out of his thoughts
and replied softly
"Y-yeah..."

She let it slipped off as the boy doesn't seem to want to sit beside her and starts to question him

"So...where do you live?"

"U-urm..."

"Parents?"
"How did you get here?"

Each question comes off her mouth
Starts to make him feel even nervous and scared
He was in a....risky situation

He decided to remain quiet
Which seems rude to y/n
As she felt like her questions were being ignored
But she just shrug it off
Knowing it won't get her anywhere

She lay down on the sandy ground
Feeling tired and hot
As the sun hits her face directly

He looked at her, admiring her beauty
Trying to memorise each details of her
Face and body, wanting to draw a portrait of her once he get back to his palace

He starts to unconsciously smiled

She looked at him
And smiled back.

It was getting dark soon
Her stomach starts to rumble softly
Making him chuckle

"Sorry about that.." she said while placing one hand on her tummy

"W-wait here, I'll g-get you some food" he said

"Wait where-"
Before she could even finish her question
He dive in the ocean
Grabbing some seaweed
And fish

He swimmed up and place the fishes and seaweed infront of her laying figure

She sat up
Amazedas she have not seen any human who could catch 4 fishes in seconds by hands

It would take a long time for them

"H-how.."

"Here eat it" he smiled proudly
Like a child having an A for math
{A/n: sadly I don't get an A for math}

He took one fish and eat it alive
Shocking her

He looked at her "what's wrong?"

"U-urm a-aren't you suppose to cook it f-first?" She stutter as she's terrified of the bloody mess

"C-cook?" He said even more confused

"Y-yeah, you know w-with fire?" She said

He starts to tilt his head making him look more creepy as fish blood drips down his chin

What creeps her even more was how dark the place is

She stood up and scurried around for twigs and rocks and run back to him with a sigh of relieve as she's afraid of what's in the middle of the small island
{a/n: you know like in the middle of the night your wanting to go get a drink but too scared cuz it's dark af that you gotta run quickly and run back}

"C-can you stay here with me?" She asked him
Causing him to blush alot as it was unexpected

"S-sure" he said

"I-i know t-this is a w-weird request and we've just met b-but c-can you sleep beside me? c-cause i-i'm too scared of the dark here"she stuttered
While placing the twigs together to start making a fire

He starts to blush even more,imagining him and her cuddling up against each other while falling asleep

But...
His tail....
