Y/n's POV...

Searching was pointless, but I didn't tell them that. "Find anything?" Arisu asked.

"No," Chota said. Shibuki was holding him up.

"Nothing," Karube said.

I shook my head. "We should grab anything useful."

We met back up at the furniture store. "What I thought. All IC chips are destroyed. Video cameras, digital clocks, and anything with an electrical circuit. They won't work. But old stuff like this still works. It's weird."

"What does that mean?" Arisu asked.

"It might mean, an electric pulse attack. I read about them online. When inserted in the Stratosphere it's able to destroy electronics in the entire city."

"Seriously?" he asked shocked. All Chota did was nod.

"Then why are these phones working?" I asked.

"I'm not sure," he said signing. Arisu looked at his phone.

"Hey!" he started tapping it like crazy. "It's totally useless if we can't charge it."

"At least this place looks safe enough," Karube said. I unfortunately agree with him. "All right... This seems like a good weapon." A knife? I mean I guess so.

"Why do you need a weapon?" Shibuki asked him.

He looked at her. "Zombies," I smirked. Zombies? Really? "You know you can't use electricity or gas right?" I wanted to say theirs a way around it most likely, but I decided against it.

"I can still use a portable stove." Well, at least she said it and not me. "It has the same batteries that are in my flashlight. And sometimes I like a hot meal. What about you Y/n?"

"A- yeah, I like hot meals."

"See? It's very useful."

That night we listened to music while eating silently. "This is so good!" Chota exclaimed.

Karube signed. "Nice and hot." I nodded.

"We haven't eaten since yesterday." Speak for yourself. I ended up eating cold Soba and Udon which Chishiya never ate.

"Hey, what are you guys doing when everyone disappeared?" Shibuki asked.

"Bathroom," Chota said. "We were all in the same stall."

"Why?" I asked amused.

"Why in the same stall?" she asked.

"What about you?" Karube asked her.

"Working, Y/n what about you?"

"I was making dinner, waiting..."

"Who were you waiting for?" Arisu asked.

"I was waiting for the food to cool down a little," I told them. Thanks to Chishiya I could easily lie, not to just my family, but to anyone if necessary.

"Did either of you hear anything?"

"Not really."

"I heard and saw fireworks from the window," I told them.

"We saw fireworks too," Chota said.

"I came here three days ago," she said.

"I came here probably the same day they got here since we were so confused together."

"We all are forced to play these games. Everyone but me died in my first game."

"You mean you used them as bait right?" Karube asked.
