Author's POV (Edited)
As the saying goes, He test those who he loves the most. Same thing was happening with Shiza. Alot has changed in the past three months. Few things happened for the best and while some things happened for the worst. For the starters, Shiza and her Khala has to leave the small colony they were living in. They couldn't pay the rent as their situation was pretty tight. Kulsoom was very much worried about how she will handle everything.

Shiza gave her the money she got by selling her earrings. Truth to be say Kulsoom was very disappointed. She didn't like how her daughter sold her precious earrings for some money. But Shiza convinced her in the end that it was necessary. Well, what can Kulsoom do when the deed has already been done. But that money wasn't enough to let them stay in the house for three more months. The landlord gave them the execution order and nonetheless they had to execute the house. Shiza was very upset and feeling disappointed that she couldn't do much for the person who did most for her.

They shifted to another smaller colony which consists of only five houses. The houses were small but it was enough to live. Thank God! They didn't had to pay the advance rent otherwise things would be very difficult for them. The good points of the house were that Beenish's university was nearer to the house. She can travel by herself as the university was on walking distance.

Kulsoom also decided to start tailoring. She knew how to stitch clothes and decided to do a business out of it. Shiza...well she was still looking for a job. It was quite difficult for her to find the job at the instant moment. She was still in the midst of finding a perfect job for her which would be suitable for her. Kulsoom and Beenish decided not to pressurize her for the job as she was running from here and there for the job.

Shiza knew that although her khala and Bisma aren't saying anything to her but she knew that they are waiting for her to find a job. Right now, Shiza was sitting in the living room. Kulsoom came out from the kitchen and found Shiza sitting there alone. She sighed heavily and walked towards her. She sat down beside her and Shiza passed her a small smile. Shiza then asked her

"Do you need something, khala?"

Kulsoom shook her head and held her hand. Shiza was confused as to why she was doing that. Kulsoom smiled and told her

"Beta, I know you're worried about the job but please don't stress yourself out."

Shiza's heart instantly warmed at the motherly worry of Kulsoom. She kissed the palm of her Khala and said

"Khala, thank you so much for worrying about me so much."

Kulsoom smiled and stated

"Beta, mujhe pata ha k hum is waqt boht mushkilon mae hain. Lekin himmat na haro aur Allah per bharosa rakho."

(Dear, I know that we are in crisis right now. But don't lose hope and believe in Allah)

Shiza nodded her head and assured her Khala

"Don't worry, khala."

Kulsoom kissed her head and said

"I'll set the table. Come and sit at the table."

She nodded her head and stood up to sit at the table...

The luminous moonlight illuminated Shiza's small bedroom. She was there sitting on the prayer mat. Her lips were murmuring as she was busy pleasing the Almighty. She looked so serene. The white scarf wrapped securely around her head. She was focused on her prayers. She raised her hands in Dua and begged her God
