Yearn For The Greatest Prize

Adversities arise everywhere we go;

But this does not mean that we should lose hope;

Keep in mind the Word of God,

Seeking comfort in His love.

As we move onward day by day,

We witness lots of change;

However, this does not signify an end

To our earthly concerns and problems.

Inside the temple of the Lord,

Away from home, school, and work;

This is where we feel safe

In this world of wiles threatening to shake our faith.

We do not dwell on the pain;

Rather, we focus on the opportunities every day;

The valuable lessons that we learn

From the tribulations in our sojourn.

Instead of chasing the fleeting stars,

The wrong places in our hearts,

We yearn for the greatest prize one can ever attain:

That is, everlasting life on Judgment Day.
