After we're dressed, we head downstairs. Mom and Nana are at the island.

"Morning Nana," I say "Mom"

"Morning," mom says

"You wanna pick up something on our way?" I ask Harmony

"Yes, please," she says

We started for the door, I was hoping to avoid my father this morning, but before we even went to the door, he stepped into the living room.

"Where you going?" he asked

"We're going pickup something to eat before we stop by the police station," I tell him

"You do realize these walls are not soundproof"

Harmony's face truns three shades of red "Yes I do realize that," I say

"Good, remember that next time," He says

"Yes, sir." I place a hand on Harmony's back to usher her out of there

"Rafe, you shouldn't have." I hear mom says, "You embarrassed her."

"She'll live," dad says

"I can't believe your dad said that," Harmony says as soon as we are out

"I can. He's my dad,"

"Sorry, I was so loud," she says

"You were fine," I tell her. "Don't let what he says bother you. Dad just likes to pick."

I open the car door for her. We stopped and got us something, then went on to the police station. They had taken my phone back to analyze it.

"What did he say?" Officer Bordy asked as we sat in his office.I told him what James had told me. "Why do you think he told you that?" he asked

"He wants me to trun on Harmony," I tell him

"So you don't believe what he's saying?" he asked

"Do you?" I ask

He looks at Harmony. She sits outside, waiting on me. I didn't want to bring up her past with her in the room. I knew how much it bothered her.

"I seen the case files," he tells me. "She was lucky she survived," he says. "You're right he is trying to get between the two of you."

I glance out at Harmony she catches me and smiles. I can't help but smile back at her.

"I might have an idea," I tell Brody

"Care to share"

I trun back to him and then explain the idea that just popped into my head. After talking with Brody, I take Harmony out to eat at a small restaurant. As we eat, I let her in one what is going to happen. Afterward, we head to an art gallery that just came out.

"David, Harmony." Jessica says as she sees us walking in

"Hey Jess," I say

"Are these yours?" Harmony asked as she admired some of the paintings

"Yes," Jessica tells her with a smile

"They are beautiful," Harmony says

"You really outdid yourself, Jess," I tell her

"Thank you both," Jessica says

"Mr. Matthews, can we get a picture for the times? " a reporter asks

I trun having Harmony turn with me "smile baby," I tell her

"Are you and Miss Rice planning to get married?" the reporter asked

"Not anytime soon," I tell him

I trun from them "David you made it out," Conner says
