"I'm home", I yelled as I walked into Hayley and I's shared apartment.
"In the kitchen", I heard a southern voice yell back.
I dropped my keys into the bowl by the door and placed my book bag on the floor next to the table before making my way towards the kitchen. The moment I walked in I saw Hayley sitting at the island with a bowl of something in front of her, typing away on her laptop.
"How was your day?", she asks, not looking up from her laptop.
"It was fine, I have to leave for practice in about 30 minutes though", I groaned.
I had decided to take coach Geno up on his offer to be the teams PT. It would help me to get experience with my degree and secretly I LOVED doing physical therapy.
"Atleast you'll get to see Paige", she smirks, finally looking up at me over the screen of her laptop.
I rolled my eyes and went back to making my salad. Paige and I were texting all night last night after I had gotten back home, just learning new things about one another. I could already tell we were gonna be close friends.
