What could it be?
Something bitter?
Something sweet?
Something entirely different?
It's almost like it's a game
I'm not very successful at it
You'll be stuck on
A beta version of sorts
That stays constant forever
But don't fret, my friend
We all float on the same boat
Doesn't matter who we are
Where we've been
What we've done
Because one things for certain;
If you knew what I knew,
Then you'd regret it all
Say goodbye to the presence
Of who you've loved all these years
"Breaking news!"
He's dead and has been for a while now
Lay it to rest
Keep your head held high
Say your prayers,
And leave it all behind
