Curiosity killed the cat
That's what you always told me
And I listened to you
For as long as I lived
I never thought of
Leaving that bubble
And wondering what would happen
If I were to do so
Had I did, would my story
Change?
Would your heart still
Beat?
Would I not be missing you right this
Second?
You loathed me
You berated me
And now here you are
Crying, but I don't want to see you cry
You're a good person,
Deep down
And I'm aware of that, really I am
But you'd never prove it to me
Or anyone for that matter
Curiosity killed the cat
And now you know to
Never leave my sight again.
