Watching me
Lurking in the shadows
I may not feel you
But I know you
And what I know is that you're here,
Lurking in the shadows
You're everywhere I go
The places I've been
The voices in my head
Lurking in the shadows
You're at all the landmarks I cross
The bush at the park
The bench nearby at the beach
Lurking in the shadows
I find it amusing
You are all-knowing
And you are all-powerful
And everything in between
So why do I feel ignored?
Why do I feel pushed to the side
As if I'm some useless rock?
Give me an answer!
I don't deserve anything
I earn it
I don't ask for much
So I need you to help me with this last
prayer.
Find it in yourself
Cleanse me of all
That is wrong
And find me waiting here
As you continue
