Minji's POV:

After hours of deciding the clothes I should wear for me and Hanni's date, or hangout as she calls it, I opted for a nice black flannel shirt with a white crop top underneath and black cargo pants paired with my beautiful and beloved white sneakers. It was nothing fancy and just my usual style, but the hangout wasn't that fancy either.

I checked the clock and it was already 4:53. I was supposed to pick Hanni up at 5, so with that in mind, I rushed out of my room, grabbing all the things I would need and saying goodbye to my mom. Hanni had sent me her address. I got in my mom's car and started driving toward Hanni's house. I don't know why, but I was very nervous. I wanted this to be good, even though this isn't the first time I'm seeing Hanni.

As Hanni had mentioned, her house was close to my apartment building, so it didn't take me long to arrive. It was a cute brown-colored house, fairly big and with pretty flowers in the front yard. It looked like a house straight out of a '90s romcom while keeping a modern look.

I was about to dial Hanni's number and tell her that I'd arrived, but I was stopped mid-action by Hanni walking out of the front door, and oh, did she look absolutely stunning? Hanni was wearing a black flannel skirt coincidentally matching my shirt, long black socks, and a checkered sweater, perfect for the chilly weather. The colors of our clothes were matching, which is very unusual because Hanni is known for always wearing colorful clothes.

"Kim," Hanni smiled at me when she reached the car. I didn't even realize how long I'd been looking at her. She was wearing light makeup, beautifully done and perfect for her face.

"Hey, beautiful," I said, getting out of the car. Wait, did I just call her beautiful? I mean, it's not like I'm lying. Hanni's cheeks turned a beautiful pink. It was too obvious that she was blushing at my compliment.

"Beautiful?" Hanni asked with a slight tilt of her head and the same sweet smile. I was now standing in front of her.

"Yes, beautiful. You look surprisingly good, Han," I replied, opening the passenger seat door for her to get in. She was shocked by the simple gesture, and I was simply thinking about how I'm such a gentlewoman.

Hanni chuckled, getting in the car. I walked over to the other side, getting in the driver's seat.

"Is it that surprising? Me looking good?" Hanni asked.

"No, that's not what I meant. You always look good, Hanni," I replied.

"You look good too," Hanni said, looking at me for a moment too long.

"What?"

"You look amazing, Min. You really do." I didn't know what to say, so I just nodded. The red on my cheeks was probably obvious because Hanni let out a small laugh.

"So, should we get going?" Hanni nodded, and I started the car, following the directions Hanni was giving me.

"Do you not like playing music when you're driving? That's like psychotic behavior, Min," Hanni said. I chuckled.

"I do listen to music."

"Then why are you not playing anything?" Hanni asked.

"I don't know what music you listen to, Hanni," I replied.

"Give me your phone, I'll play something."

"Uh, my phone?" I asked, nervous that she'd see my wallpaper. She might get weirded out. It was a screenshot of the FaceTime Hanni and I did last night, her face wasn't in it, but her hands and guitar were visible. I don't know why I made it my wallpaper, but it was a cute memory.
