But the reality is that missing someone isn't just an emotion.
It's that empty space in your heart,
That void that will never be filled,
That sting when you remember something that they used to do,
That emptiness when you try to feel warm.
It isn't easy to say that i miss you
It isn't.
Sometimes its all about that beat that you vibed to,
That song that you loved so much,
That moment you laughed your heart out,
That small satisfaction acquired while you were right beside,
That coffee aroma,
The jokes we cracked.
It isn't easy just to say i miss you
It isn't.
Sometimes it's about the touch of your hands,
The love that we shared,
The moments we had,
The thoughts that were alike,
The cafes we went to,
The road that we travelled.
It isn't easy to say that I miss you
It isnt.
It's all about when i sit alone and think,
About where i made a mistake?
Where did I trip?
Where did I stop because of this unbearable confusion in my heart?
Where I felt numb to all that we had?
Where I no longer feel the need to miss you.
Where I no longer need you.
It has become easy to say that I no longer miss you.
