she looks at herself in the mirror and her mind instantly fills with unwanted self-loathe as she involuntarily see her flaws and blemishes in her very own eyes.

her body curves in all the wrong places and she's not able to see the top of her head in the mirror. she can't even smile because she won't see it and she can't wear certain clothing because it just doesn't look right.

sometimes she sits and wonders about what is more dangerous: a gun or her thoughts because the gun gives her the opportunity but her thoughts pull the trigger.

and then she realizes that she doesn't need a gun to die because her mind is enough to give her the thoughts: she could be physically alive but mentally dead. she could be able to breath but she's secretly choking. she could have a heart that's heavier than anything she's ever known because it's full of sadness.

she could be here but she's really not.
