I can't seem to get you out my mind.
Jayson chuckled to himself as he looked out the window of the private jet that flew over the Pacific Ocean. He, his team and his boys were on a flight from LA to Japan.
The reason for the trip? To give the rookie a little more exposure as a up and coming dominate basketball player and a new culture adventure.
The REAL reason for the trip? To meet with his friend and someone who has capture his heart, Azaria.
The pair leg at the TD Garden as they accidentally bumped into each other on their way out of the arena. He was automatically entranced by her beauty, stumbling on an apology.
"It's okay. Just watch out next time." She said rather nicely to the taller and bigger man in front of her. She knew about Jayson Tatum and always thought he was fine. However seeing him in person, turned on the rare nice mode that most people don't have the privilege to encounter.
Jayson smiled to himself about that first meeting, mumbling and mixing up his words just to find a name. After doing a little research, also known as, asking the team group chat about her, it was known that she was one of the student physical trainers that was set to shadow their trainers for four months.
Over those four months the two became extremely close. So close that the team jokes about the high sexual tension between the two, which both denied on countless occasions.
"Ion know why you tripping Jay." Celtics guard Terry Rozier said after Azaria left the locker room from checking up on them. "You know you tryna get in those guts"
"Clap dem cheeks boy." Marcus Smart, yelled from the other end of the room. Marcus Morris and Jaylen Brown laughed loudly as Jayson shook his head.
"I don't even know what y'all trying to say. Zee and I are just good friends."
"Yeah. A good friend that you fucking travel halfway across the fucking world to pick up a pen she dropped just so she wouldn't have to bend over." Jaylen said as he shook his head. Morris watched him with a blank look as he sucked his teeth.
"This nigga always got some oddly specific situation." He said making the rest of the locker room laugh. "All we are saying that you both got that look in y'all eyes where you are ready to jump but you also sprung as fuck."
"Yeah this nigga went and go and caught feelings like he ain't got baby momma issues." Terry said as he shook his head. "I hope you been working on ya pull out game on these broads because nigga."
"Look. Duce is a blessing. Aight."
"Yeah and also the New Testament on how weak Jayson's Tatum pull out game is." Smart said with a cackle.
"Man fuck y'all."
"Aye yoo Zee" Morris yelled as he went to the doorway. Jayson sucked his teeth as he shook his head.
"Man that dumbass was right." He mumbled to himself as he remembered what Jaylen told him.
"What Jaylen said about your high yellow ass traveling the world for a girl?" One of his friends said with a laugh. Jayson rolled his eyes as he chuckled bit.
"Yeah. It's just crazy. I'm really just trying to see her and see what the country got going on."
"The way you are sounding, you might as well propose." His agent say with a smirk on his face. "But we all know that's bad PR."
Jayson stood in the middle of Tokyo Square Garden, watching the bustling of the locals and the slow intrigue nature of the tourist. He himself was fascinated by the city alone but was only interested in seeing one person that agreed to meet him here.
"Oh fuck. I can't believe your ass is actually in Japan." Azaria said behind of him. Jayson jumped at the sound of her voice as she caught him off guard. She giggled as his shocked look changed into a small smile as he wrapped his long arms around her torso, bringing her into a warm hug.
"I miss you a lot." He mumbled to her as he continued to hold her tight. Azaria let out a small chuckle, enjoying the embrace.
"I miss you too, but I've only been gone for two months. Also your hug is getting too tight and I can't breath." She said as she nearly choked out the last part. Jayson, quickly let her go and gave her an embarrassed smile.
"I'm sorry about that." He said as he nervously scratched the back of his neck. She looked good, even better than the first time they met. He just wanted to kiss her full lips and make love wherever he was permitted to do such.
"It's okay." She said with a small laugh as she went on her tip toes to kiss his cheek. His eyes widen at the certain contact, knowing that he was officially out of the friend zone.
"Let's go and explore this place."
