Chapter 17

Olivia's POV:

"Morning Livy!" Ry says slinging an arm around my neck.

"Morning Ry!"

"So, was the plan successful?" He asks hopefully.

"Sadly nope. James is still angry at Lex for flirting with you and Lex is still clueless as ever." I sigh.

"What? I was really hoping the plan would work! Now I feel bad for ruining their friendship." He says disappointed.

I laugh at this. Yes, I'm heartless I know. Not literally though. I would die if I didn't have a heart.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Because none of what I said was true. Quite the opposite actually." I reply back chuckling.

"You little devil!" Ry says jokingly and starts tickling my sides.

"Ah stop please stop!" I say in between laughs.

"Say that I'm is the best and I'll let you go."

"I'm the best!" I reply cheekily.

"Nope. Say Ryder is the best."

"Ryder is not the best!" I shout in between chuckles.

"Well then. I'm not gonna stop." Ry says cheekily.

"Okay fine. Ryder is the best! Now please stop!" I say and he stops tickling me.

"Aah, I missed you air!" I say hugging thin air.

"Liv stop hugging yourself and tell me what happened with James and Lexi?"

"See for yourself." I say looking straight ahead.

James and Lexi are coming towards us and they're holding hands.

James whispers something in Lex's ears and she laughs and blushes.

So basically they look like the power couple of the school.

"Hey guys!" Lex says cheerfully .

"Heck yeah it worked!" Ry says giving me a high five.

"What worked?" James and Lex ask in unison.

"Our plan to get you guys together." I reply casually.

"You guys did this?" Lex asks.

"So Ryder flirting was a part of it?" James asks.

Ry and I grin at each other.

"Yup!" We say in unison.

"You knew we liked each other?" Lex asks.

"It was obvious and this is coming from someone who's known you for such a small time." Ry chuckles.

"Yup and don't think we didn't see the glances you throw at each other when the other is not looking." Lex and James blush at this.

"Oh and Ry?" I say.

"Yeah Livy?"

"I'm still the best!" I say and bolt before he can respond.

⏩⏩Time skip⏩⏩

Currently it's lunch!

We're sitting at our table and everyone's either hogging up on the gross cafeteria food or acting all lovey dovey.

Both of the cases make me gag.

"Mmm, this burger is delicious." Ry moans.

"Do you really have to moan?" I ask disgusted.

I mean yes I know that food is everything but I'm not a creep who moans while eating. It's just wierd.

"Doubles the taste." Ry says with his mouth full.

Yuck. I turn to Lex and James who are flirting shamelessly with each other.

"Are you made up of copper and tellurium? Because you're CuTe." James says, making Lex blush.

"Do you have a camera? Because I can picture us together?" Now it's James's turn to blush.

I want to gag.

"Okay now I seriously regret getting you both together."

"I've lost my appetite." I say pushing the plate away from me.

"Can I have it?" Ry asks.

"Sure, help yourself." I say as he stuffs more fries in his already full mouth.

I need better company. Sigh. I guess I'm stuck with these idiots.

You're speaking as if you're not one.

I'm not.

Seriously Liv, who was the one who bumped into the pole yesterday?

I was looking at the baby bird!

Yeah sure. And who's taking to themselves right now?

Ugh. Stupid conscience.

You've called yourself stupid. Once again.

"Will! My man! Come and sit with us!" Ry calls over to will.

Instead of sitting he comes up to me?

"I need to talk to you. Right now."
