He just stared at me. I rolled my eyes at him. Sometimes, I wondered how I was mated to him. I smoothed out my dress and waited for him to say something. His mouth opened and closed giving the appearance of a fish.
"Well, any words?"
He shook his head and looked at my stomach. Instinctively, my hand came across my stomach as if to protect pup from him. He didn't deserve to be in pup's life.
"How long?" His voice was cracked.
"9 weeks."
I pulled out the sonogram pics and handed it to him.
"You can keep it, I have another copy."
He nods his head and looks lovingly at the photos.
" Do we still have to get a divorce?"
"Yes we do just because we have a baby on the way doesn't mean I can just forgive what you did. Where is the whore anyway?"
"I ended it as soon as it happened."
"Why she's your mate, you love her."
"No, I don't."
"Yes, you do."
He shakes his head and looks at me his eyes filled with tears.
"I don't want anything from you. All I want is a divorce. We don't have to even take it through the court system all you have to do is sign this paper."
Tears flows down his face. My wolf cries for him even though she knows that I no we have to do this. We have to let him go. Luke says something that shocked me.
"I'm not signing these papers."
