"we can get ice-cream later, okay hyung?" changbin nodded in response, "I'm not a third wheel guys." chan grunted as they all walked into the dance studio.

"you can be~" changbin smirked, knowing that he was getting to the other male. "guys! let's just dance....okay?" both nodded noticing felix's attempt to release the tension. the young aussie believed it was all a joke and didn't understand why his friends were so on edge with each other. he shook it off and started the music, "5, 6, 7, 8.." he mumbled dancing along. watching the mirror to check his spacing with his teammates, seeing that the chemistry and coordination wasn't there.

he sighed and stopped the music. "what's up with both of you? Is it me?"

"NO!" they yelled in sync, "then what is it?" chan and changbin stayed silent. "you two stay in here and work things out, I'm getting drinks, if you don't, I'm leaving." felix said leaving the room closing the door behind him.

"wow he's scary when he's mad..."

"it's the voice...a blessing and a curse." chan shuddered, "that's one thing we can agree on."

"how do you know you like him? it's been 2 days.." changbin sat down on the ground pondering for a little, "it's just something about him...he's special...." chan nodded sitting next to him, "I get you, I get you. but we can't let this impact our friendship and friendship group, it's impacting felix too." changbin nodded in response.

"I guess we'll have to see who he choses, can't force him. he thinks it was all a joke anyway, let him think that way." he laughed. "we'll wait and see." chan stuck out his hand, "we cool?" changbin smiled taking it and shaking it, "cool. fair and square." they both smiled getting up and stretching together mucking around. as if on command felix came in with drinks, "I bought water, and cola, cola is for after. did you guys work things out? looks like you did~" the younger smiled looking at the two getting along.

it was the end of the week and everything had gotten better. everyone was a little confused to why chan and changbin were getting along so well, it probably had something to do with felix. felix was currently hanging out at a cafe with jeongin having lunch, it was a random request but felix couldn't help but agree.

"y-ya felix-hyung, do you want to have lunch with me on saturday?" felix was a little confused, "you can call me felix and also, why saturday? isn't it thursday or something? so specific jeonginnie~" making the other awkwardly laugh hoping he didn't make it too suspicious, "sure I'll have lunch with you~ it will be fun~" he grinned tapping the younger on the back, "now let's go to class."

jeongin was constantly checking his phone for a text from chan saying he was ready but there was still nothing. "something up innie? you've been checking your phone a lot."

"ah, it's nothing, I'm just waiting for an email back from a teacher, they haven't replied and I'm getting a little nervous." he chuckled nervously scratching the back of his neck. "so how are you settling in?"

"settling.....?" felix tilted his head confused at the foreign word.

"finding or getting used to the school and korea." felix nodded, "it's hard, not going to lie about that, it's quite difficult...especially korean..."

"you're getting better though, improving!" jeongin put a thumbs up, "gUd jOb, dOIng gUd!" making them both burst into laughter.

the younger didn't notice his phone blowing up with texts, "you gonna get that?" he jumped and quickly picked up his phone.

channie-hyung: why aren't you answering innie?

channie-hyung: innie? 🥺

innie: shoot! I'm on my way!

"let's head back, we didn't tell chan so maybe he's worried." he smiled and stood up grabbing felix's hand. he didn't understand the rush but followed jeongin anyway, "what's the rush innie?" he shrugged trying to blow it off, "just, chan was blowing up my messages." he laughed awkwardly.

the two walked back to the dorms and up the stairs to felix and chan's room, the older member not knowing there was a surprise waiting for him. he put in the key and opened the door to see the curtains drawn and the lights off, he scrunched his nose and tried to find the light switch, "just a second...."

in that second the curtains opened and everyone jumped out, "SURPRISE!" felix screamed and held his chest, "you scared me! so mean!" he pouted making everybody laugh and run hugging him.

"welcome to your welcome to korea party~" chan came out smiling with a cake, "blow out the candle, don't forget to make a wish~" felix nodded knowing what to wish for, he smiled softly before closing his eyes and blowing out the candle earning cheers from everyone. "let's cut it!" felix giggled running to the drawns to grab a knife, "channie-oppa! put the cake down please~" he blushed and nodded as everyone stared at him, their eyes saying the same thing, 'you haven't told him?' chan ignored and watched as felix cut the cake. last minute, "TOUCH THE BOTTOM YOU HAVE TO KISS THE NEAREST PERSON!" as that was said felix touched the bottom and everyone but chan and changbin fled finding the requirement quite stupid, "hyunjin which one do I kiss?" making them both blush, "you chose!" a voice hiding behind then couch said.

"I chose....?" he nodded waddling over and kissing changbin on the cheek, (a/n: big oop) "all done!" chan felt his heard shatter whilst changbin was feeling the exact opposite. everyone looked over at chan almost in pity, yet he remained a smile and called everyone over, "let's have some cake everyone...okay?" everyone nodded coming back and helping chan with the cake whilst felix and changbin were on the side talking.

minho walked over and rubbed his shoulders comfortingly, "it's okay..."

"he....I can't believe it...." he was broken and nothing could fix that feeling.
