九 - jiǔ

ˆsorry guys, usually halloween chapters are actually posted on halloween and unless you want it on october meaning you'll be waiting for a while, I'll post it as a normal chapter.

days and weeks would go on where chan would avoid any contact with felix whatsoever. after that day, he cancelled everything to do with lix, including dance. he became cold and closed off, not just to felix. he became more sad, he was always tired, he would sit at the back of the class, wouldn't even eat lunch with everyone. he spent all his free time on the roof or in his room. whenever felix would try to talk to him, he would turn away and ignore him, it worried the boy. in his spare time he ended up getting to know changbin a little more, and in all honesty, he didn't enjoy his company as much as chan's. he missed him as a friend, he missed him in general.

"hey felix, ready for lunch?"

"oh? yeah..." he sighed watching chan walk away. he felt the more he walked away, the more he was walking away out of his life.

october 31st

"halloween!" the youngers jumped around coming out of hyunjin's room after getting dressed, "why are you guys even getting dressed up? you're not trick or treating or anything..."

"why not hyung?" hyunjin remarked back coming out fabulously full of sass, "and you are...?" 

"isn't it obvious?! I'm a zombie!" he complained pointing to the torn shirt and the white contacts making everyone chuckle, "here comes han jisung!" he said running out and twirling, everyone knew what he was, "what a weird dog..." minho said laughing.

"say that again I dare you!" jisung said chasing his new boyfriend around the house. "don't break anything! changbin will kill you!" hyunjin screamed looking over at the other male on his phone rolling his eyes, 'can't believe I like him...'  

seungmin and jeongin walked down together as rose and jack from the titanic, there were a mix of oo's and aw's as well as laughter, a lot of laughter, let's say they had a bet, and jeongin lost, you could tell by the beautiful brown wig and the silk red dress, "you look cute~" seungmin giggled kissing the younger's cheek, (a/n: maybe I should have another story on these love stories. hmmm.)

"why did I have to come out last?!" 

"cause you look the best!! *whispered* I'm lying, I do~ hehe."

"okay I'm here and I bough snacks and dri-" chan walked in, only to be met by the hottest version of lee felix he could ever see. (a/n: what is he? what is he?) 

he swallowed harshly, "the blood feels so weird hyunjin..." he complained adjusting his collar, "okay- it's not as bad as that-" pointing to jeongin and seungmin before playing the titanic theme on his phone, everyone singing along as the couple re-enacted the famous scene. 

"what do I do now?" he looked over at chan before running over teasingly pushing him to the wall leaning into his neck prying his mouth open pretending to bite him before stepping back and giggling running to hyunjin. chan felt blood rush to his cheeks and elsewhere, the boy's duality was like a 2 time slap in the face. the little action from the small aussie left changbin shocked and glaring at chan, who of course, was too distracted to notice. 

"you know what we should do? go to that weird house we past by last week, apparently it'sopen to the public, it's a tourist spot but I don't see why we can't go." minho said coming back after a wild chase with the "weird dog." jisung shivered, "are you serious right now hyung....."  minho just shrugged, "it's halloween, why don't we have some fun."

"I'm down." felix grinned, "it's my first halloween in korea~" making pretty much everyone's heart melt and agree to whatever crazy idea or plan this was. chan who was still spaced out didn't reply, making felix walk over, "chan-oppa~ you coming?" he couldn't help but smile and nod. all his effors of ignoring and forgetting about him failed with one simple smile as his heart started to race looking into those beautiful brown eyes of his which today were tinted a slight shade of grey because of his contacts.

they all grabbed their belongings, "take what you need!" chan yelled out. jisung quickly lifted up minho running out the door making everyone laugh.

they all arrived at the place, it was a short walk from the dorms so it wasn't a big deal, "wait, are we even allowed out after hours...?" the younger asked slightly scared, hyunjin just sh-ed him and walked into the house. felix chuckled slowly grabbing chan's hand and walking in behind hyunjin making changbin's blood boil. he thought he won, maybe he was wrong. 

the atmosphere of the house was a little creepy, felix's grip on chan tightened and changed from grabbing his hand to his arm. the older couldn't help but smile and happily stand there protecting him, it's all he wanted. "ah! why is it so dark!" making felix jump, "jisung-ah! don't scream!" he whined and clung onto chan like his life depended on it. chan giggled and removed his arm from the others grip, making him pout, only to wrap his arm around his shoulders. felix blushed and smiled snuggling into him. they kept walking around the house, going up to the second floor.

they all looked around seeing various skulls and other things, "this place is haunted, it should be destroyed-" jeongin whined holding seungmin's arm quite tight. changbin looked around unfazed by everything until he layed eyes on felix and chan on the side, he began to walk over before hyunjin grabbed his wrist, "you said it was going to be fair, didn't you?" he grunted and wriggled out of the other's grip and walking forward.

a loud bang echoed throughout the house making most of the kids jump. felix whimpered and hid himself into chan's chest, "I regret this, let's go home everyone.." hyunjin shook his head, "there's one more place we have to go before we leave." he smiled leading everyone back down and to the back door, "I think you'll all like this~" everyone looked at each other suspiciously walking out to see a cute little garden, "so I came here earlier in the day and set up a little picnic~ I thought it would be a nice bonding thing for today~ so dig in and let's have a happy halloween!" 

felix looked at everything with a sad smile, 'I'm gonna miss this...'
