That afternoon, you and Jimin take a cab to Yangdong.
The ride is awfully long and by half way through, you're already passed out asleep.

You feel a light tap on your forearm, making you flutter your eyes open. Looking to the right, you realise you were leaning your head on Jimins shoulder whilst sleeping.
Frantically, you take your head off.

"We're here." Jimin smiles, opening the door of the cab. You scoot out the car and look around.

"Okay so on the map on my phone, it says the Company is that way." Jimin says, pointing down the road.
You nod as you both start walking.

"So what's the plan? Or are we winging it?" He asks.

"Well all we have to do is convince them to let us in, search their logs then find the addresses of the witnesses from that day we landed on earth." You shrug.

"Alright, that sounds easy enough."

And it was.
You easily persuaded the receptionist to let you through to their logging room then asked her to leave and not let anyone else in until you and Jimin are finished.

The room is quite big with rows and rows of metal shelving units holding boxes with dates on them. It doesn't take you two long to find the year you're looking for.
Jimin takes the cardboard box down and starts flicking through each folder in the box.

"Meteor showers, full moons, stars..." you read, flicking through each folder.
"Ah, I think this is the one. 'Strange sightings'."
Eagerly, you pull out the folder and open it up.

"Many villagers in Yangdong reported sightings of strange quick flashes of light. Some even felt large gusts of wind though no solar scanners or seismic wave graphs picked up irregular activity." You recite to Jimin who's eyes widen.

"That must be it!" He beams.
You turn the page to find individuals reports made by people.
"This is it! It has what they saw and... oh my god Jimin, it has where the sightings took place! We don't need to find them and ask!"

"Thank god." He smiles in relief.

"Let's take this, it'll make the search so much easier." You say but Jimin stops you.

"What if they notice it's missing? Let's just take a picture of it and go."
You comply and snap pictures of each persons report that has the locations on instead.

"All done, let's clean up then get out of here."

When you both leave the Company building, Jimin takes out his phone and rings Yoongi.
A few moments later he puts down the phone, confused.

"What's wrong?" You ask, worried by his expression.

"It's not even ringing... hold on."
He stretches out his arm and raises his phone up.

"What're you doing, you look ridiculous." You laugh. Jimin elbows you playfully and shakes his head.
"I'm trying to find a signal, I'm not getting any bars... try your phone."

You take out your phone and to your distress, you can't get any bars either.
"Hold on, let me ask the receptionist what's going on."

He disappears back into the Company building and a few minutes later, he comes back out with a frown.
"So... the satellite for the area usually breaks and it takes a couple of days for them to fix it. She says when this happens, this province is completely cut off from communication."

You groan and rake a hand through your hair.
"How are we going to call a cab!"

"Don't worry Y/N, we should stay around here, Yoongi and the others will come soon when they realise we're MIA." Jimin says.

"How long would that be? What if they don't come for hours?!" You panic.
Jimin shakes his head and places a hand on your shoulder.

"I'm sure it won't take long. Let's just wait here."
Without any other options, you agree.

After a few hours of standing and sitting in front of the Company building, the sky darkens and the employees finally leave, eyeing you both strangely.

"Jimin, it's almost 9... what if they don't come tonight?!"

"We'll need to find a place to stay for the night.." He shrugs, looking around.
The two of you start walking down the street but you don't spot a hotel or a place to stay.

"How about we find a nice park bench to sleep on." He jokes. You lightly slap him on the shoulder and shake your head.

"Hell no. We'll find a place, come on."
You walk a little faster and soon enough, you find a run down Inn with brown windows and the sign hanging, a slight breeze away from collapsing entirely.
Surely this place can't be open for business?

To your surprise, it is!
There's only one room left with a two beds so you take it.
After paying the dirt cheap price of a less than 30, you and Jimin wander down the hall to find your room.

On the way, you hear an array of noises coming from rooms.
Screams, splashing, laughing and weird moans that you had to run to avoid hearing.

Finally, panting from all the running, you shut the door to the room and lock it.
"Are you going to wash up?" Jimin asks making you laugh.

"Nope. I'm too scared to even look in the bathroom. You?"

Jimin shakes his head and sits on the bed nearest to the door.
You jump onto the bed near the barred window and lay against the pillow.

Jimin looks your way and after a moment, widens his eyes.
"Y/N... don't panic but.... there's a bug on your pillow." He whispers.
With a scream, you scramble from the bed and stumble onto the floor.

"Jimin kill it!!! Get it off please!" You yell.
Jimin chuckles and walks over to your bed. He scoops up the brown thing and traps it in his palm.

"Open the door for me."
You nod then rush to the door and swing it open before running and cowering behind Jimins bed.
He chucks the thing out and quickly shuts the door.

"Thank you!" You sigh in relief.

Jimin laughs at your squeamishness.
"You can take my bed you big baby." He teases.
You grin and nod before climbing onto his bed.

Once your both laying on each of your beds, you say goodnight and fall asleep.
