the door slammed behind Hinata as he stomped over to his room, completely ignoring his mother and younger sister. natsu tilted her head in confusion as she watched her brother run angrily to his room. she looked behind her at her mom, who had the same confusion written on her face.

what could it be?

they seemed to be asking the question with their eyes. natsu shrugged, answering her moms silent question.

"ill check on him." hinatas mom said knowing the girl would want to keep playing. natsu smiled and nodded.

"okay!!! make sure nii-chan is okay!" she smiled and went back to playing with her dolls.

hinatas mom sighed when she reached hinatas room door, which she heard being slammed closed a couple seconds ago.

she knocked twice softly and the only answer she received was a groan. she sighed once again and opened the door to reveal hinata laying face down on the bed, his head buried in his pillow.

she sat next to his legs and started to rub up and down his back.

"what happened?" she asked after a minute or so of attempting to calm her son down. it worked a little bit, but she could tell he was still a bit riled up.

"tsukishima is a butt hole." he said into the pillow not allowing his mother to understand a word he was saying. she giggled a little before questioning what he said. he sat up in the bed and faced his mother.

"tsukishima is a big meanie! he never even tries to get along with me, and now that were both in trouble and basically forced to hang out every Saturday, he still wont give it a try." he pouts after finishing his sentence and his mom couldn't help but smile.

"well, didnt you guys used to fight all the time?" she asked, as she remembers the name being thrown over the dinner table in reason of a stressful day.

"yeah." hinatas voice held a little bit of shame having to admit it.

"well maybe he's not ready to forgive you." she suggested, a small smirk playing on her face.

hinata stopped pouting and sat up in the bed.

"well, how do i make him forgive me?" he asked. his voice was desperate and eager. she giggled once again and shook her head.

"you cant force someone to forgive you, shoyo. you can only apologize and hope they do. have you properly apologized to him yet?" and once again, hinata slumped with shame.

"no." his voice was just as shameful as before. his moms face was decorated with an expression that practically screamed i know.

"well, maybe you should start there then," her voice was suggestive and she raised an eyebrow, queing him to tell her what ideas he had.

"like what?" shoyo was always clueless and his mom knew this, but it still didnt stop her from getting annoyed every time he said something completely dumb. she rolled her eyes and scoffed.

"i don't know, maybe buy him a small gift and tell him you're sincerely sorry about all the fighting and that you hope you can become better friends." she nodded, liking the sound of her own idea. hinata thought for a couple seconds before a wide smile came on his face. his mom smiled back, know that he had just gotten a good idea.

"ill be right back!" he yelled before grabbing a small handbag and running out of the house before his mother could even react. natsu whined as she saw him leave, but he wasn't there long enough for her to say something.

"where did nii-chan go?" natsu asked, once her mom was back on the couch in the living room.

"i don't know." she answered honestly and they both went back to doing their own thing.

*********************************************

tsukishima sighed as his legs started aching from all the walking. he didnt actually expect hinata to run off, especially with how stubborn he usually is, but hes happy he did. something about the small, orange haired boy deeply annoyed tsukishima. he couldn't put his finger on it, but he didnt need to. he just needed to stay away from him.

that task got ten times harder when he joined the same team as him.

tsukishima shook his head in attempt to clear his thoughts of hinata (whos hes been unbeknowingly thinking about since he left). he started to pay more and more attention to the music playing in his ears, which he suddenly wasn't interested in.

was i too harsh on shrimpy?

tsukishima couldn't help but think this despite wanting nothing to do with the boy, in real life or in his thoughts. tsukishima shook his head harder this time, a more aggressive way to clear his mind.

like i care. that shrimp is always annoying me.

tsukishima slipped out of the pathway and started on his way home. he sighed and shook his head for the third time, for seemingly no reason as his thoughts were still all about hinata. tsuki didnt know why he had a problem with him and it bothered him so much. it bothered him that he just hated him. he was always salty to others, that's true, but never like this. there's something different about how annoyed he gets at hinata. and he doesn't know what.
