CHAPTER FIVE

Emerys pov

Silence

Complete and utter silence

I didn't know what to say, I mean what do you say when you just find out your birth mother is standing right in front of you

I slowly look around the table were me, Nonna, and the bikers are all sitting.

Dose this mean Scarlet and Blade are my siblings? She can't really be my mom....right? Why did she leave me, what did I ever do? No mom would ever do that to their child unless they don't love them right?

Then I started to get mad, like really mad

"You are not my mom" I said in a low voice, and by the way they flinched, I knew it didn't sound like me

"Y-yes I am. I brought the DNA test and your birth certificate.....I am your mom" she said as she dug into her purse. When she handed me the folder I just stared at it for a moment before opening it

.........it's true, she is my mother, it says it right in front of me. On my birth certificate it only has her name on it.....Jessica Landon

I looked up at her with tears in my eyes, the fight in me draining from me as more tears fell

"You left me" I whimpered out "Why did you leave me" she started to tear up

"I..I didn't want to, I love you with every bit of me, but I did it to protect you-"

"Protect me!? You put me in an orphanage to protect me!?Do you have any idea what I've been through while you and my brother and sister had an amazing life full of family?!" I told her with a glare and more tears "I am fucked up in the head, because of you!, I tried to kill myself, because of you!, I was almost rape to many times to count, because of you!, I have been beaten by foster families and put in hospitals because of you!. My life is pathetic, I am pathetic, because of you!" I stood up quickly from the chair making it fall over while I watched my mother cry

I knew Nonna was trying to calm me down, but I didn't hear it. I flinched when I felt a hand on my arm and I moved my arm to get it off of me.

"You were supposed to protect me, be there for me.....not leave me without anyone" I told her my once loud tone becoming a lot more soft and quiet

"Please Emery, just hear her out" I looked at Killer, her husband who wasn't on my birth certificate.......there has to be a story behind that.....

"I.....I can't, at least not right now.....I can't even look at her.....I.....I have to get ready for work" When I said that I darted out of the room, hearing my moms cry

A few days later

I haven't seen them since the day they told me.....

I have calmed down a lot, but I don't know if I can hear her explain why she left me, I don't think it would matter

It's in the past

Which is why I think I should forgive her, I won't trust her just like that, and I most definitely would never forget.....but I could have a bigger family.

I haven't told Kala about what happened, mostly cause I haven't had the time, I have been working a lot more due to me wanting to keep busy

I work at this cafe place, it's super cute looking, I'm a waitress, but I sometimes sing for live entertainment, the customers seem to like it a lot when I do and we usually have a full house when I do sing, but that's why I don't do it often, I can't sing and take orders at the same time, and there is only four other workers

Two girls and two boy, I wouldn't say we are the best of friends, but we are friendly to each other, so that's good.

I'm at work right now when Kala and the kids walked in, they walked up to the counter where you order from

"Hey!"

"Hey baby" I said with a giggle at how enthusiastic Max sounded

"Hey Emmy"

"Hey babygirl" Millie smiled at me

"Hey bitch, anyway......we will have the usual..... please besty" she gave me the puppy dog eyes once she seen me glaring at her

I rolled my eyes and took the money out of her hands, she has been here to many times so she knows the exact price.

"Go find a seat" I told her, she giggled at me when she noticed how irritated I am, and walked to the window seat they always sit at

I went back and told the cook their order before going back out front, where I found Beast, leaning against the counter with a smirk on his handsome face, I deadpanned at him

"No"

"You don't even know what I was going to say" he said standing up straight with the same smirk on his face

"True....but I don't care, the answer is no"

"You have to talk to her sooner or later Em" I shivered at his little nickname for me

"I choose later"

"It's been three days"

"So.....look I just found out that my mom isn't dead and that she might actually want me, I need time to process this, and it's going to take a lot more then three days"

He looks at me before leaning over the counter, closer to my face. I gulped, but stood my ground, not moving when he got closer

But he past my lips and moved to my ear "Don't be much longer, life is to short princess" then he kissed me

On my cheek

Before giving me another pantie dropping smirk and leaving

I realised the breath I didn't know I was holding

He is going to be the death of me.

Scratch that, with the way Kala is looking at me, she just might beat Beast in killing me. I guess I have to tell her everything now.
