"This was supposed to be our off day." Harper groaned as she folded another T-shirt.

Sundays were the only days when we got to do whatever we wanted. Abigail just had to prepare food for the Thompson's weekly picnic and the rest of us were free for the entire day.

"Who is supposed to do our laundry then?" I giggled, taking the T-shirt she folded and putting it into her drawers.

"I don't ca..."

She was cut off by a sudden swing of our squeaky door, causing it to bang against my chest of drawers behind the door. I heard Harper gasp but I closed my eyes, too afraid to turn around and see who came in. The sudden tension in the air made me anxious.

"Mr Alderidge." Harper breathed and I froze. "Is there something you need?" She asked, her voice slightly shaking.

I still didn't turn around. What was he doing here? After he approached me in the kitchen yesterday, we haven't seen each other for the rest of the night. My chest heaved up and down as I closed my eyes, staining my ears to hear what he had to say.

"Yes." He stated. "I need to speak to Amelia. Could you leave us alone for a moment please?" I froze.

Surely she wouldn't right? I wasn't ready to speak to him, I didn't think I'd ever be ready to speak to him. Please don't leave Harper.

"Oh...okay. Amelia is that okay?" She asked, causing me to turn around.

I quickly masked my shocked expression, pulled my lips into a tight smile and turned around. I nodded at Harper who's eyebrows were knitted together in confusion and worry.

"Very well then." She nodded and brushed past Henry.

He was standing with his hands in his blue dress pants pockets and his eyes were staring directly at me, catching my gaze and holding it hostage. His white shirt was buttoned up until his chest and two buttons were still unbuttoned, showing off his heaving chest.

"Wha..what are you doing here?" I choked out, fidgeting with my fingers.

Deep in my mind, I knew exactly what he was doing here but I had no idea why he would show up in our cottage. What if someone saw him? How much questions was I going to have to answer? Why was my palms so sweaty?

"Come with me." He stated.

"N.."

"Amelia." My name sounded so familiar in his deep voice and it sent shivers down my spine. "Please." He pleaded, softer.

With a heaving heart and shaking hands, I nodded and followed him out to his car.

"I'm not a taxi driver." He chuckled when I moved for the back seat.

The small smile on his lips made me smile too. I missed his grin, his smirk and the feel of his pouty lips on mine.

"What?" He asked with a smirk.

"Nothing." I quickly responded, looking down as I opened the passenger door.

My cheeks were burning and it was no doubt that it was redder than the edges of his car seats. He climbed into the drivers seat and started the car. Throughput the drive, all I could think about was our drives to the beach, our drives to and from school and how he used to sing every single dong of Twenty One Pilots. I couldn't help but glance at him from time to time, his lips pulled down into a frown.

I was confused when we drove into the city and noticed him waving at a random passerby. How long have he been in Istanbul? Why was he here?

"We have a firm in almost every city of Turkey now." He answered my question as if he read my mind. "It wasn't a very good idea but my old MSN wouldn't listen." He chuckled as we pulled into a cemented driveway.
