Chapter 13

Ty got up and went after her.

Outside**

" Amy, what the hell was that? You have been acting weird since the baby was born? What's wrong?" Ty asked

Amy had her back turned to Ty.

" Ty, you wouldn't understand." Amy said

" Try me. Also face me." Ty said

Amy turned around and she had tears running down her face. 

" Amy honey, what's wrong?" Ty asked with a worried look on his face.

" Ty, I-- I have cancer." Amy said crying

" What?" Ty asked

" Did you not hear me? I have cancer Ty. I have lost my appetite, my hair is falling out, and I am super tired all of the time. I went to the doctor and had an MRI, the doctors said it was cancer." Amy said crying

" When did you plan on telling me all of this?" Ty asked

" I don't know. Once Rose left." Amy said

" Amy, I don't know when or if Rose is leaving." Ty said

" What do you mean you don't know if she is leaving? Ty we can't raise a teenager, especially one who doesn't like to listen. Ty I hate to say this but it's me or Rose. You pick." Amy said and left in tears

Ty just stood there speechless. Then Jack comes outside

" Where did Amy go?" Jack asked

Ty had tears in his eyes.

" Ty, what's wrong? Did something happen?" Jack asked

" Umm, Amy just told me she had cancer and that I need to pick between her and Rose. I don't know what to do. Jack, I don't want to pick between Rose and Amy." Ty said

" Ty, I'm sorry. You just need to explain to Amy that you can't pick between the two. Where did Amy go" Jack asked Ty again

" Amy left. I have a feeling she went back to the house. I am going to go back to the house." Ty said

Ty started to head towards his truck but Jack stopped him.

" Ty, just give Amy some time to think about what she said. You also need to think about it too. I know this is difficult for the both of you." Jack said

" Yeah that's a good idea. Umm, lets just go back into the house." Ty suggested

Ty and Jack went back inside and sat down at the table.

" Daddy, where did Mommy go? She is going to miss Nana's famous banana pudding." Lyndy said

" Honey, Mommy went home. She wasn't feeling good." Ty explained

" Daddy, I want to go home. I don't feel good either." Lyndy says

" Lyndy Honey, you haven't had my famous banana pudding yet." Lily says

" Don't you want to stay for the pudding Lyndy?" Ty asks 

" No, not really daddy." Lyndy says

Lyndy threw up right after saying that.

" Alright, come on Lyndy. We are going home." 

" Ty, I want to stay here." Luke said

" Ok, I will be back after I get Lyndy situated at home." Ty said

Ty took Lyndy home.

At the Borden House**

Lyndy and Ty walk inside.

" Oh, well I feel better now." Lyndy says

Lyndy is about to run off to see Amy.

" Woah, Lyndy. You are sick, you threw up at dinner. So you are going to take a bath and lay down." Ty said

" But I am not sick. I just wanted to come home to see Mommy." Lyndy says

" Lyndy you know better than to lie. You could have just told me that you wanted to see Mommy. How about you go get in bed with Mommy, I will turn on a show for you. You can watch your show while Mommy takes a nap. Does that sound alright?" Ty asked

" Yeah!" Lyndy said

Lyndy ran off to her room and got all changed into comfy pajamas. Ty walked into his and Amy's bedroom.

" Ty, I am not ready to talk about what happened." Amy said

" That's not why I am here. I'm here because Lyndy was so worried about you she faked throwing up. So I told her she can come back here and watch a movie while you take a nap." Ty said

" Umm, ok." Amy said

" Also Amy, we are going to talk very soon about what happened. That was not ok." Ty said

Lyndy then came running into their bedroom. 

" Alright Lyndy, are you ready to watch a movie now?" Ty asked

" Yes Daddy!" Lyndy said

Ty turned on a movie for Lyndy then went back to the Ranch House.
