I strutted out of the room, Liv and Hunter at my heel. The girl that was sitting with Hunter threw me a withering glare. I smiled at her.

I went to sit down in my usual spot when I felt a hand on my waist. I looked to my side and saw Hunter, he was smirking at the group of girls batting their eyelashes at him. I attempted to pull out of his grasp, but he only tightened his hand.

"You can't just pull a stunt like that and walk away from me." He whispered into my ear, I shuddered with delight at what he suggested.

He directed me towards his spot on the couch, sitting down and pulling me on top of him. I leaned back, my head directly next to his own. He placed his hand on my thigh, just where the shorts ended.

"This feels familiar, no?" He purred into my ear. "Too bad your wearing shorts this time." He said as his knuckle brushed against the fabric on my core.

I chuckled softly as i placed my hand on top of the hardness pressing against his jeans.

"Slut." The girl next to us coughed.

"Oh i'm sorry, are you jealous." I sneered at her as I pressed my lips against Hunters neck.

Hunter threw the girl a withering glare before turning towards me.

"You seem to be claiming territory Rodriguez, I wouldn't get too comfortable if I were you." He drawled.

"I'm not the one getting comfortable." I said, applying pressure to my hand resting on his cock.

"No?" He managed. "What about-." He was cut off as a bang rang throughout the room. I jumped up to see five men in masks running through the crowd, rifles in hand.

Hunter jumped up beside me. Screams rang out through the room. I was frozen in shock for only a second. I grabbed my gun from my pants, it took me two seconds to decide whether not to shot. But then my finger pressed the trigger, the bullet hit the first man in directly in the chest, he fall back. Dead.

The first man i'd ever killed, it made me shiver when i realised I enjoyed it. They come into my home, prepared to kill, they deserve it.

The crowd was running out the door to the main hall, trying to escape the men in masks.

I had to find Liv and Ethan, make sure that they were safe. I looked around the room but they were no where to be found. Hunter and I were the only ones armed, everyone else was fleeing.

Hunter was beside me, his own pistol in hand. "Nice shot Rodriguez." He breathed as he fired his gun, it hit the head of the man closest.

I didn't know how Hunter knew how to shot, but now wasn't the time to dwell on it. I didn't know who these men were, but I was sure it was no coincidence that they came when my parents and brother were gone.

The man on the far right aimed towards me, I turned to shoot him when I felt a agonising pain i'd never felt before in my thigh. It felt like it was on hot fire, burning through my leg.

I'd been shot, warm blood ran down, soaking my leg in red.

I didn't let it distract me as I aimed at the man who shot me, my head felt light as I fired, it missed him by an inch. I shot again, this time it hit him in the stomach.

I fell to the ground as the pain in my leg became to much to stand. Hunter was at my side, his shirt off as he wrapped it tightly around my thigh.

"The others." I asked, my voice rose in panic.

"Dead, I got them all." He replied, his hands steady as he helped me to my feet.

"How did they get in? There were guards stationed everywhere." I heard a scream just as the last word came from my mouth.

Hunter helped me half ran, half limp towards an open door that I had originally locked. The guard was dead, shot in the head. Liv looked up at us as we came rushing in, she looked at my leg and almost fainted.

There was a bullet on the ground next to the guards body.

Hunter bent over and picked it up, squinting as he inspected it.

"Tyler." He breathed, Hunter started cursing as he turned to me. I stilled, what the fuck did Tyler have to do with any of this.

"Where is your fathers study?" He asked quickly. I could see in his eyes that something far bigger then a shoot up was happening.

"This way." I informed him as I limped down the hall, Hunter was by my side in an instant, sweeping me up bridal style.

"I don't give two shits if you know what's happening or not but if you insist on coming I'm not having you bleed out." He said gruffly.

He started running down the hall, turning when I told him to. We reached my fathers study, the door had been shattered, the locks useless.

I saw movement in the room, Hunter placed me on the ground. "I'm coming in with you." I insisted.

"Not look like this Raven." Hunter said seriously. I tried to stand. This was my home, I wasn't going to be too scared to defend it. Hunters hands gently pushed me back to the ground.

"You are not going in." He commanded. I looked at his eyes, slightly pleading before they turned hard and cold. Hunter pulled his gun back out and raised it as he walked through the shattered doors.

"Hunter, what a surprise the see you hear." I recognised that voice, the voice usually full of sniffles as he answered the physics questions. The voice that would ask me heaps of questions and was surprisingly growing on me.

I twisted myself so i could see inside the dark room. A gunfire shot and my heart dropped as I thought Hunter might of been the target. Glass broke, than another gunshot. I couldn't see what was happening. Footsteps, more gunshots.

I was so light-headed, I couldn't see straight.

Hunter was suddenly in-front of me, he looked unharmed.

"What the fuck just happened." I managed to say.

He sighed. "Tyler -." He was cut off by his phone ringing.

He picked it up, i swear his hands were shaking as he answered. "Hello Father." He said.

I heard shouting coming from the other side. Hunter winced slightly before he put his phone down. "You'll find out soon enough." He said simply before picking me back up.

"Do you have a doctor?" Hunter asked.

"A nurse, east wing." I murmured before I blacked out against his chest.
