32-Failed Fight

Alora put her leg out tripping Nash, She fell as well to make it seem as if they tripped over some plants. Alora quickly grabbed the weapon and hid it into her dress just like the night of the ball.

"Are you okay Nash asked?"

Alora pretended that her ankle was in pain,

"My ankle sorta hurts"

Nash helped Alora up and she carried on with her act and pretended to lose balance due to her sore ankle and grabbed the device and shoved it down her dress sleeve.

"I'm sorry it's hard to stand," Alora said

"Let's go back inside. I'll get Bruna to help you and Alora?"

"Yes Nash"

"That gun isn't loaded nor is that device real" Nash smiled

He zapped Alora's neck and she fell to the floor barely able to move. She blinked slowly into darkness.

The Next Morning...

Alora woke up with tears rolling down her cheeks. She was in disbelief that she failed at trying to obtain simple items.

"Good Morning Alora," Nash said

Alora sat up quickly only to see Heath standing along with Nash.

"That was quite a smart plan yesterday I must admit Alora. Too bad it didn't work out well but since we are discussing plans why don't we tell you one of our successful ones. Axel's death was all because of us" Heath said laughing

Alora was speechless

"I played around with his fuel tank while his car was parked at the hospital. Damaged fuel tanks can cause leaks and in no time a fire. Might I add we killed that little driver Oliver as well? Give up Alora... You're hopeless without Axel the team will NEVER find you." Nash winked

"Enjoy your breakfast and remember to count your hopeless days until the wedding" Heath added

Alora watched angrily as the two left. She fell back against the bed and closed her eyes.

"Kill me now...kill me" She whispered to herself

"Alora?" Bruna said softly

Alora opened her eyes and sat up.

"You haven't eaten in the past few days. Why don't I make you something? Is there anything specific that you'd like?' Bruna asked

"Well...I've been really wanting blueberry muffins," Alora said

"Why don't you take a shower and get ready for the day? I placed fresh clothes in the bathroom last night. I'll make the blueberry muffins and bring them to you." Bruna said smiling softly

"Thank you so much, Bruna. It's warming to have a little bit of kindness around here." Alora said

Forty five-minutes later...

Alora brushed her damp shoulder-length afro as she sat on the bed. Bruna knocked on the bedroom door.

"Come in" Alora yelled

Bruna walked in with a fresh steaming tray of blueberry muffins. Alora smiled softly as she could smell the freshly baked muffins that teased her growling stomach.

"The muffins you requested," Bruna said smiling as she placed them on Alora's lap

"Thank you," Alora said

"I'll fix your hair while you eat your muffins, okay?" Bruna said

Alora nodded as she stuffed her face with the muffins.

"I know this might be a dumb question to ask but how have you really been feeling Alora?" Bruna asked

Alora swallowed the chewed bites of muffin in her mouth.

"Not very good Bruna. I miss them so much. They were the only meaning of family I truly had." Alora said

Bruna sighed

"You have to be easier on yourself Alora. I can hear you sniffling at night when I pass by your room to check on you. Even your gagging as you throw up sometimes. The stress really isn't good for you." Bruna said concerned

"I know but I can't help it sometimes," Alora said

Meanwhile...In the Living Room

"I'm f*cking serious Heath! You betrayed me!" Lucy said

Heath rolled his eyes

"All because I killed Axel?" Heath asked sarcastically

"Yes! Alora is supposed to be dead!" Lucy yelled

"She's not dying and that's final!" Heath yelled

"What?! You're a f*cking liar Heath!"

"You better shut up before I expose you, Lizzie!"

"I am not Lizzie!" Lucy said

"Yes, you are! You're just scared they'll find you aren't they?" Heath chuckled

Lucy didn't say another word

"Get out of my face! You're pathetic!" Heath yelled

Lucy stormed off 

Meanwhile...In NYC

Annika stormed into the Mansion. The front door closed with a hard slam which gave members of the team a little jumpscare.

"What's wrong with you?!" Cedric yelled

"I've been investigating the evidence I found at the ball," Annika said huffing out of breath

"Okay? Did you find anything?" Lilith asked

Annika dug into her pocket and pulled out folded papers and a small jar of blood.

"Look at this! I tested the blood I found in the bathroom at the ball and it isn't Alora's nor is it Axel's! The problem is...It's Lilith's we not exactly it shows up as Lucy" Annika said

"What?! Lilith?" Liam yelled

"Yes, Lilith! I don't understand because the doctors pronounced her dead after childbirth." Annika said said

"What if she isn't really dead?" Rome said

"What do you mean?" Hunter asked

"What if she faked it? Or it was mistakenly pronounced." Rome shrugged

"Then that means... she's alive!" Annika yelled out in shock

"That's it! We have to track her down. There's a reason why she must have changed her name to Lucy! She didn't want us to find her but why?" Cedric said

"Macy and Bridgette Let's get to the tech room and start searching for her location," Cedric said
