Kalim brushed off his hands after a few rounds of sparring. "Alright! Training is over! Let's go!" He grabbed Yuu's wrist, who had a hold on Grim, and ran off.

"Hey, there's still work you need to do..."

"Wait, we still have 'errands' to run..."

Jamil and I both sighed. We gave each other a once over before Jamil mentioned, "Guess both of our dorm leaders are shirking their duties."

I scrunched my brows. His intonation and wording rubbed me the wrong way. I averted my gaze, "Yeah, sure...I should go catch up."

I ran down the gold gilded halls to catch up to my dorm family and a sense of safety they provided. I glomped onto Yuu's free arm as Grim ogled at the fancy adornments.

"Woow! Everywhere I look there's gold! It's beautiful! This is a lot different from our dorm."

"Is it really that different?" Kalim didn't look the least bit fazed. "When I first came to the school my dad donated to the school for refurbishing the dorms."

"That's nice of him," Yuu smiled.

"How rich are you?" Grim yelled in astonishment. "Are you a prince like Leona?!"

"The Asim family isn't royalty, so I'm not a prince. Though, I do have family that is royalty," Kalim explained.

"So, you're just straight up nobility. Like a duke or something?" I surmised.

"Haha, yeah you could say that" he laughed it off. It was like it was just talking about a soccer game, not the fact he was aristocracy.

"Asim? But isn't your name Al-Asim?" Grim kept following close to Kalim as we went on.

"Al's origin is from the Land of the Hot Sands, meaning 'son'," Kalim began teaching us. While he still gave of a radiant cheerfulness, his demeanor seemed for more like a leader than a playful child. "So, the name is passed down for generations by the ancestors. All the males in the family have the name 'Al' to refer to them as 'son'. In my case, "Asim' is the name from my ancestors and 'Al' means son. Hence, my name is 'Kalim Al-Asim."

Grim's head had smoke coming through his ears, and it wasn't from the fire. "Wow...I never thought there was such origins behind someone's name."

"It's hard to get when you aren't used to it, huh?" Kalim scratched his head with a wide smile. "You can just call me Kalim."

"It's pretty common from our world," I joined in. "My name tells a story."

"It does?" Yuu looked at me over their shoulder. I simply nodded.

What does your name mean!" Kalim excitedly asked.

"Oh! Uh, it means 'beloved child, first to be alive after grandmother's death," I answered flatly. They all looked slightly surprised. "I never said it was a happy story."

"What interesting information we're getting on this tour," Yuu changed the subject, trying hard not to laugh. "There are students from so many different countries."

"Come visit the Land of Hot Sands someday! I'll be sure to welcome you!" Kalim invited.

"Do you live in a mansion or a castle?!" Grim got right back to his interview.

"Eh, neither really. I only have about 100 servants," Kalim answered without skipping a beat.

Only 100 he says. ONLY 100! Sir, that's an estate.

"100 servants are more than enough, isn't it? I only have two!" Grim grumbled near the end.

Wait...two?
