67. Plastic Sound

It was just yesterday. I got late coming back home from Uni and just barely got the last train back home. It is quite a rural area so there was no one else in the train compartment. There were 7 stations left until I'd get down so I was drowsing in sleep.

I suddenly started to feel cold and thought it may be because of AC but then it didn't feel right. I also noticed that I hear some plastic sound - as though someone is constantly fiddling with some plastic bag. I realized this sound was coming from somewhere up so I turned up to see what was causing that noise. There, I see a person laying on the luggage rack.

I was sitting right next to the door, and this person was laying on the other end of the luggage rack. He was looking around the train compartment with a creepy smile plastered on his face. He had bushy hair and purple-ish skin, I couldn't even tell if he was a guy, or actually a girl, or young or old. He was something very hard to distinguish.

The plastic sound was coming from his mouth. I don't know how he was making that noise, but whenever he breathed out, it sounded like a rustling plastic. He didn't look at me but he was scanning through the compartment.

My instincts told me I should look away but I suddenly forgot how to move my eyes away. If I wanted to run away, I had to go past him to the other compartment so I didn't have any way out. I was panicking like hell all the while he was scanning through the compartment with his yellowish eyes.

I was so worn out and tensed just when the train halted for a station. I stormed out into the platform, when I noticed from the corner of my eye, this guy was watching me. He found me.

I walked two stations home but it was better being in that space with that thing in the compartment.

Well, while I am writing, I can hear the plastic sound coming from the next room. I just hope it's my cat playing...
