Chapter 25 ~ Nassau

Rahma sat on her seat on the plane as she looked around the , they were in first class , which she never cared about like what was the difference? she took a deep breathe trying to calm her heart she was always nervous when she got on a plane

She didn't like taking flights it made her nauseous and dizzy she didn't like the feeling at all , she's been on numerous flights before , but she was especially nervous for this one maybe because it was her first flight with bilal

They came to Lagos yesterday and now they were boarded on Air France to the USA after they get to Washington they'll board another plane to Nassau ( the Bahamas )

She felt his hands against her arms

" are you okay ?" He asked his face worried

Rahma scanned his face with her eyes ,his beard was now a bit full and he was looking handsome as he usually does

" I'm just a little nervous " rahma said giving him a tight smile as she adjusted in her seat

He nodded and pressed her arm ,she relaxed a bit and closed her eyes

And they took off

After 13 hours 42 minutes

They arrived at Washington DC and boarded a taxi they were going to a hotel to sleep for the night before their flight at 3pm tomorrow

Rahma landed on the bed with a thud

"I'm so tired my back and butt hurt " she groaned as she rolled on the big bed

Bilal chuckled as he kept the suit cases on the little couch

The hotel room was average sized there was a little settee by the window which had a nice view of the city The king sized bed in the middle of the room and toilet by the right

Bilal removed his shoes s and went into the bathrooom to make ablution after he was done rahama did wudu too , with warm water ,because it was snowing outside and there it was so cold

After they were done praying. Rahma changed into a long sleeve turtle neck sweater and put on comfy sweat pants and socks

She's never felt this cold in her life she wore her abaya and a sweater on the plane she was so cold she started shivering thankfully the flight attendant gave her a comforter that was when she slept

It was 9: 33 pm it was dark outside but not very dark

She put her knees up as she sat on the bed she put her head on her knees as she looked out the window , it was snowing a bit

It was -18 degrees outside the room was warm because of the heater at the far end of the room

She felt Bilal sit beside her his arms on her shoulders

" what are you thinking about " he asked

" my mom , I've been home sick lately , yess I know I saw her just yesterday but I just miss her and I know I should be used to it by now but you know I was very attached to my mum it was always just us in the house " she finished with a smile
