sometimes rain, sometimes rainbow

when it rains, it pours.

when it's dry, it starves us.

when the grass is green,

our neighbor's is greener.

lemon trees don't bear fruit

and the blue moon no longer shines.

but after every hurricane

comes a rainbow:

every pour,

bears fruit and flowers bloom.

when you water your grass

you realize it's green

and lemonade tastes sweeter.

and you appreciate the common moon.

sometimes it rains,

sometimes there's a rainbow.

life is what you do with it.
