Hey all, it's been almost a year! Sorry if you got this far and didn't get an ending. I started this two summers ago, and as time passes, so does interest. I loved, and still love Luca. Such a beautiful movie. But I'm focused on school and other things at the moment, so I don't really see myself having any interest to finish the story. But in case there's someone out there who really wants to know what happens in the end:
Luca heals, both he and Alberto get a therapist lol. Ercole's arrested and then later sent to a prison in a different city for a great many years. Massimo adopts Alberto (of course) and Alberto and Giulia heal quickly enough to participate and then win the cup while Luca watches on, still recovering from a broken rib and some scratches he got from Ercole. Then, the story basically ends the same way as the movie but with a slight twist...
The boys share a cute lil kiss before Luca leaves for school and later (in an epilogue I wish would exist) admit their love for each other.
