Thirty - Three

It was a fine day and everyone had went to Their respective workplace.

In Rahul's office

Rahul was sitting in his office room and was instructing his PA about something and his PA was trying to listen everything very carefully.

Because Rahul doesn't like any mistakes in his works so he was being very careful.

And when they were having discussion about something Rahul's phone rang so he dismissed his PA and started talking on the call .

The call was from the Thai client, the project he was working on from long time they told him there has been some problems in their new project, so he gave to go there by tomorrow.

After he was done talking with his client he immediately told his PA to make arrangements of his departure.

He didn't know how many days he would have to stay there so he was making sure to get done with his work , which at his hand right now .

And he was in the middle of his work he got call from Riya , then it struck him that he has to leave her behind for some days he himself don't know how many .

In this he didn't recieved her call so he again immediately called her and talk with her for sometime, but while talking to him Riya could sense some discomfort in his voice but she didn't gave it much thought.

After they talk for a while they hung up as Rahul was having a meeting lined up .

In the evening when Rahul came home he Parked his car and was coming in , he was struggling on a thought , that how to tell Riya and his family that he is leaving for Thailand tomorrow itself.

When he entered he can saw his whole family having evening tea with having fun while chit-chatting, he greet them and told them he will be there after getting fresh up .

He went in his room and immediately get fresh up , and came out of his room while descending the stairs he was doing some prep talk to himself to reveal it to his family, actually it's not about his family,it's only about Riya , his family know about his workaholic behaviour already.  

But Riya has came here some months ago only, he haven't left her alone in this month's and it will be his first buisness trip after marriage , so he is getting tensed imaging her reaction. He just don't want her to get upset because of him .

From the time Rahul entered in home Riya has been noticing him , she could sense he was tensed about something but didn't went after him to ask immediately, as she thought she will ask him when they will go to sleep.

When he came downstairs and sat with them Riya immediately gave him some snacks and Balck tea then they had it talking about how was eachothers day at their perticular workplace and all .

Then all of a sudden Rahul cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention and said in his authoritative voice ,

I have something to tell you guys ,

And he gave a look to Riya who was looking at him keenly to proceed further.

Yes we are listening, his dad said .

I have to leave for Thailand.

After hearing his words Riya ears perked up, she looked at him immediately  and she wanted him to tell it all quickly as her heart started racing at the bullet train speed only after hearing one sentence but she didn't show it on her face .

When? And how many days ? Asked his mom .

Tomorrow itself , and don't know how Many days , and before you ask me anything about why I didn't told you beforehand, so let me tell you i myself got to know know it in the afternoon only .

While saying all this he was constantly looking at Riya to see if she  give any some reaction but he didn't get any , she was sitting there having her head bowed.

But only she know how much upset she was , but she don't want to hold him back because of her , so she didn't gave any reaction as she know he will feel guilty after seeing her upset.

And just the matter of some days , she knows it will be difficult for her but he has been working on this project from very long . She had seen him doing hard work for this project from past months and she didn't want it to go waste.

She could feel Rahul's intense gaze on her , so she lift her eyes and gave him smile. After watching her smile Rahul was somewhat relieved , but he knows it better that she must be upset but not showing it on her face .

Then they all the men of the sits there having some talks and ladies of the family went to prepare dinner, while preparing dinner Riya was just thinking about the things happened sometimes before.

When her mother-in-law noticed her she grabbed riya's hand in her hands and made sit on her nearby stool and said ,

I know bacche it's very difficult for you as it's first time after your marriage Rahul is going away from you .

you know na this buisnesman have to make trip around the world and here we wife's have suffer because of them .

But you don't worry this time we won't suffer, we will have lot of fun  in his absence and would have girls night outs  every night till he came home .

She said and all the ladies of the house burst in to feet of laughter.

Let me tell you Riya it's the first time he has ever told us that he is going on a business trip before day, or we would always get to  know it only before he leaves home, or we would call his PA when we couldn't reach him .

But this time he tell us because you are here and I am very grateful to you that i am seeing my Rahul like this or he would always go on buisness trip without telling us or work his ass off without caring about world around him , he did love us but he never show it on his face .

But because of you he has starting showing his care towards us also . While saying this a tear dropped slipped out of her eyes

Till now riya's eyes are wet and she hugged her instantly.

Ohh ....ho. you started it again , said sanvi and they laughs at her antics and prepared dinner .
