Dabi opened the door to the cafe letting Izuku enter who giggled. The two sat down at a table talking to one another. "Well now you know what's up with me, what about you? Anything new?" Izuku asked the male who shook his head "nah...I have nothing special going on"
"To be honest, I think my life is shitty everyone got such good careers, then there's me working at a liquor" "o-oh...really?" "Yeah, I ain't really care works out for me, my father hates it though but it's what ever" "hm..." "You still remember Shiggy?" Izuku smiled with a nod "he's working on becoming a surgeon, ain't that crazy?"
"Yeah, I was surprised when I found out, how's it going for him?" "I would say great but it ain't, he's got some big debts going on for the school he's attending, people tried helping him pay it off but he doesn't want them to"
"Oh no...if he doesn't pay it off he'll get kicked!" Izuku said with a worried expression. Dabi nodded as he drank from his cup, "I tried telling him, but he won't listen" Izuku pouted thinking about how he can help him out.
The two later on exited the place walking by each others side "by the way, how do you feel about the fact we're getting married?" Dabi asked Izuku who hummed "Well, I don't really know how I feel about it. I mean, i was pretty nervous but to see that it's you my father agreed on making me marry you, I feel less scared"
"Less scared? What are you still scared about?" Izuku looked at him and looked away staying quiet "Izuku? Come on tell me" "no, it's nothing" "Izuku" a gasp escaped his lips a he flinched from the sudden grab of Dabi. He looked directly into his eyes "If it's about the past then forget it, that was years ago and...And I'm ready, I'm ready for you Izuku. I want something serious"
"I ain't lying, I promise and I REALLY promise this time that you're the one I truly want, nobody else, okay?" Izuku smiled softly cupping his face as their faces got close their noses brushing against each other while their forehead pressed up against each other
"I love you Izuku, I mean it"
