Edha's PoV-

"The owner." My mouth fell open a little. The elevator pinged and the door separated, he walked out but I was still in the faze.

The owner of the company.

Sometimes I forget he is a billionaire with a fucking B. He obviously has contacts.

I followed him into the lavish cabin.

It was pretty clean and sophisticated, like a CEO'S cabin should be. A man probably in his late 20's or early 30's in a three piece suit sat at the head of the table, his fingers clicking on the keyboard of his laptop.

Veer entered like he owned the place and sat on a couch across his table without any meet and greet. So he's an ass to everyone, not just me. I just rooted in my place, the man looked at him but not at me. Putting his current work aside, he rested his arms on the table. "So-" his eyes finally landed on me. His one side lips lifting in a smile, he stood pushing his chair back.

"Who is this pretty lady with you?" He himself forwarded his hands to me I also reciprocated but just as our hands were about to touch Veer grabbed his hand. "She's mine,-" he turned his head to me, "None of your business, Aariv." then back at him.

Why does he have to be rude to everyone?

Aariv. Pretty name for a pretty face.

"I'm Dr. Ishita's sister, Mr. Mehrotra." I answered with a smile. Hopefully, he won't be an ass like him.

"Please, call me Aariv." He appealed passing a charming smile. He is handsome. Wow. And a gentleman too.

"Have a seat, Miss?"

"Edha Ahuja."

"Make yourself at home, Miss Ahuja."

Real freaking gentleman. The respect he is giving is just the polar opposite to him. Okay, he does respect me but doesn't hear my needs. That's a bitch behaviour. I relaxed myself on the couch and said, "You also don't have to put up formalities, Aariv. Call me Edha."
