I swear, I try not to care

Still, stupid little hopes steepen the slopes
Love is so stupid and cruel
Curse you Cupid, made me a fool
I don't know why or how
But I fell hard for you
Knew it was a false vow
What have I gotten myself into?
You have taken up my mind
Love really makes you blind
I thought we were intertwined
Beloved you, a wicked mastermind
Love is so stupid and oh-so rough
Curse you Cupid, and your sweet bluff
I wish I had control over myself
When you said only I was in your view
While putting that tragic book on the shelf
And making my life one too
I have lost my identity and sense
I know you lost things as well
Now, we together aren't comfy but tense
It's hard to live and hard to bid farewell
Love is so stupid and misleading
Curse you Cupid, two hearts are bleeding
It's so hard to see the bed not messed
And to return your shirts that I stole
But so is with you, being obsessed
To glance at you and lose all control
Still, you are the only one I think of
I know you too are cursing the Cupid above
For both of us, patching and breaking seems tough
Oh so confusing and stupid is love...
