Can got up the next day more tired than he thought he would be. Traveling back to Positano, catching up with Mehmet and then Farah and his dad and let's face it, one too many whiskeys last night at dinner, finally caught up to him. Farah had tried unsuccessfully to get information from him about a big goofy smile, as she put it...he had ignored her and had gone to bed.
Luckily Mehmet's art exhibit wasn't until 8 pm that night so he had a lazy morning planned before going to see Tahir at the gym. Can had really missed his two friends while he was gone.

Mehmet Kosono was an enormous guy, standing at 6' 3", thin but well built. He loved bragging that he was a few inches taller than Can. He was all arms and legs in college when Can first met him.
Mehmet was in some of Can's art classes when he switched his major from business and was a great influence on him as he found his creative path. Honestly, Mehmet was a brilliant artist and won many awards through the years. He had a way of capturing a moment in his paintings that made you feel like you were right there seeing it in person.
He challenged Can to find a way to do the same with his camera and it worked. Can wanted to create moments with his photography, making the subject come to life and tell a story.
Mehmet's exhibit would feature some new pieces that he had created during his stay in his new city. Can got to see just a few the day before when he visited him and had his eye on one in particular that he wanted to purchase for his tiny hut here in Positano.

Tahir Angelo was a former boxer that purchased a gym in a less affluent neighborhood in Positano when it was about to be closed down. He knew that the young people in that area needed a safe place to hang out and workout so he turned it into a rec center for them.
Tahir graduated a year ahead of Can in high school but they were friends while they were in school together and kept their promise to be brothers for life. They both loved the outdoors and extreme sports and were kindred spirits from the beginning.
Everything in the gym came to a crashing halt as Can entered the door. Tahir stopped sparring with a client and took off running towards Can, who he nearly tackled! Tahir was shorter than Can but was a wall of muscles. The two brothers hugged and greeted each other with huge smiles.
