"LET'S GET OUT OF HERE, PLEASE, WHILE WE STILL CAN." as the four take a step back and then turn around, annabeth says. only to find alecto waiting for them in the path they were taking. then, percy draws his sword.
"you should have accepted my offer when you had the chance." alecto says, causing discomfort in both havan and annabeth by glancing between them. they both had gotten an offer from the fury, but neither of them knew what the other's was. not even grover and percy.
"offer? what offer is she talking about?" says percy, turning his head to look at annabeth, who wasn't doing a very good job of hiding her suspicion. however, a voice emerged from behind the statues and spoke.
"not today friends." she uttered, walking out from behind the stones, her figure coming into view. "oh shoot." havan exclaims, averting her gaze as she knows precisely what would happen if she had to look. the others in the group did the same.
