"GROVER, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HEAD?" havan asked, stirring awake from her slumber in her seat next to percy as she slowly lifts her head off of his shoulder.
"his head is just sticking out the roof. it's still on his body." annabeth tells her bestfriend who rubs her eyes slightly before realising it was just her vision. the girl then stood up and went to sit next to annabeth.
"does that help?" havan asked her, gesturing to the object in annabeth's hands. "guess we're about to find out." she said. it was then when percy stirred awake, immediately locking eyes with havan after.
"hey." she said, smiling at him.
"hi." he responded, mirroring her actions and sending her the same smile.
the two were soon broken out of their small moment by annabeth who tapped havan on the arm, who then turned her attention to her. "we're calling chiron's office, right?" annabeth asked her.
