"HEY, YOU ASLEEP?" percy asks, waking up from his slumber. havan answers from her position next to him, "yes." the previous night, the two had spent their sleep on the train's floor. before percy chose to speak, there was a brief pause.
"what was it like? when you found out about all of this?" when the boy asked her, the girl made a small movement and turned to face him. as he turned to face her, mirroring her movements.
"why do you wanna know?" she asks him.
"you were the only forbidden child alive before me, right? so you must have dealt with the same kind of stuff." he explains, havan let out sigh. "it was hard. i mean being a forbidden kid was scary, i've seen alot of monsters percy, gone through a lot of shit. but you get used to it after some time." she states with small shrug of her shoulders.
