July 29th, the day I'll never forget.
I was 4 years old at the time, playing in the living room of my house within the Uchiha compound, my babysitter sitting across from me as she played with my dolls. We're having so much fun, I was rather excited because my parents were to come home tonight from a week long mission. An hour has passed since the usual time they would be home, I was getting worried. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, I quickly jumped up and ran to the door to open it only to see the head of the Uchiha Clan, Uchiha Fugaku.
"Hello, sir. What can I do for you? If you're looking for my parents they aren't home yet," I say with a slight bow.
"I'm here to talk to you Y/N. Can I come in? We might want to sit down for this,"
"Yes, of course," I move out of the way to let the older man in, walking towards the living room and sitting down on the couches, "So uh what did you want to talk about," I ask nervously, fiddling with the hem of my shirt.
"I wanted to talk to you about your parents. I know this might be hard to hear, but unfortunately your parents passed away on their mission. They were good people and fought to the very end. I'm deeply sorry, Y/N."
Tears.
A lot of tears.
My eyes hurt.
Really really bad.
